@@johnbelden Glad to help! And if it still doesn't work I would suggest disabling beta updates from the same place that you downloaded the beta just so no more bugs appear and you can download the the official iOS 18 whenever it comes out

Great video! I must admit that I am currently on the first dev beta of ios18, and it’s been surprisingly smooth and overall great! I think I am sticking with this and upgrading to public betas all the way through the official release of ios18. A lot can change from now til then lol, but so far, so good!

Thank you so much. The iOS 18 tore my phone up! I couldn't text, I couldn't open apps - I couldn't do anything. My battery overheated, I went from 100% battery to 0 in just about 2 hrs - and my phone just kept rebooting itself. This saved my phone!

Most likely due to the fact that the System Data grows to a giant size which fills up your storage and forces the iPhone to reboot

No I went through apple support on iMessage numerous times and they couldn’t help, so booked me to go to an Apple Store, but I don’t have an Apple Store in my country so it’s completely out the way.

OMG your video was awesome. I was on apple support talking to someone for 48 minutes and she literally was doing the same thing except for the step where I had to download the software on my phone. Guys I recommend as much as the beta looks cool u should wait until ios 18 drops in September its lowkey no use to doing it early when its on the brink of issues and problems and bugs, because if u never updated while on ur ios 17 than everything is technically gone if u plan to downgrade pls dont not let ur phone get damaged by the update wait until the time is nesscary it will cause blinking mileage on storage problems with ur battery life, Problems with ur storage and a decrease of ur phone mobility ❌ do not update❌
