The problem with the first story is that if a fighting video game let character have sex with each other it would be banned so fast and hard that the publishers, the developers, and anyone else that had anything to do with the game getting made would probably never be allowed to work in video games ever again. If parents and government freaked out over the hot coffee mod in gta, which was a mod it wasn't programmed into the game, someone had to create it. Than people would lose what little sanity that they have, over a game that was programmed so people could have sex. It's just unrealistic i dont care if this is the Future. Yes it looks along the lines of a street fighters or king of fighters game so it doesn't have the gore of mortal Kombat but come on, Black Mirror just making unrealistic episodes.

1st story was very sus, but damn did the wives rrally just leave them be? Irl, there would be bigger shit happening The 2nd one was wholesome in the end, but it felt like an unhinged disney film The 3rd one is so dumb. The reveal was very anticlimactic and overall sad. ‼️i miss the old season. The new season is the WORST. Even worse than the movie. The problem is Black mirror is no longer sci-fi. It's fantasy. Werewolves and demons etc. It's just not Black mirror anymore. I don't know why this happens to Great sci-fi shows! Literally out of nowhere after a few seasons of being straight science fiction suddenly these switch to fantasy. 🙄 Can you imagine if they did this with any other genre? Can you imagine if they took a great horror series like Haunting of Hill House and then suddenly season 3 with no explanation it becomes a romantic comedy?!?? It's ridiculous! It's not even Black mirror anymore. The thing is I feel like the episodes in season weren't bad they just weren't Black mirror. If they had created a new show and said from the creators of Black mirror comes a new fantasy anthology I probably would have loved to the show. But as it is I am extremely disappointed. We're here for Sci-fi, THAT is what the whole show is about! It's about the dangers of technology, that's what the name of the show Black mirror means! It's a reference to us constantly staring into our cell phones which are a Black mirror. It's about the dangers of technology and all of them feel realistic for the most part. It feels like with technology developing as it is that these are possible futures. But suddenly this season 0-1 movie stars are werewolves, a girl finds a cursed object, true crime

Black Mirror has always been about media and it's effects on humanity. Right now, with AI and futuristic-ish tech hitting the real world, it's probably not as fun to write and play with such similar themes. So they took a trip into the past to explore how media affected us in the past but addressed it in a way that made it feel like that tech was new instead of obsolete like it is now. Basically, imagine black mirror season 6 was created for an audience of people in the 1920s. That tech would have been wildly scifi to them just like AI and robots were to us a few years ago. The werewolf was just a means to an end. It was the photography, paparazzi and demand for more more more of the media outlets that was driving that story.

@@prettyevil6662000 that's not the point. It's supernatural and fantasy. They could have gotten the same point across without a fantasy spin. It would have been far more interesting for them to take a kpop idol who's a real person competing against other kpop idols who are actual robots and trying to keep up etc. The point is it's fantasy and supernatural not Sci fi anymore the themes are not the same, this new season is the worst season that is ever come out of it and I'm extremely disappointed. What's the last one about the demon even about then how does that fit into the themes? And the previous Black mirror isn't all about media. It's about technology and even tech that is created with the best of intentions turns out terribly and is used for evil.

@@WhitneyDahlin It's about technology that are forms of media... Media, as in multimedia, not media as in 'the news'. Thus it's about media. And yes, season 6 does still stick to that theme. It's how existing tech is/was used for evil. You wanted it to be scifi but the creator wanted most of it to be grounded in reality for a change, likely because scifi is becoming real life around us right now with the rise of AI. You're always free to write your own instead if you think you know the themes better than the show's writer though. I thought this season was the best season because the grounding was amazing and put our current technology spikes into some perspective. I haven't seen the last episode yet. Guess I'll think about coming back to tell you when I get around to it. Though I don't see much point since you'll still complain it shouldn't be fantasy.
