Never heard of season 11...yet somehow it isn't strange. I actually cried at the end!! I've loss so.many friends because of this disease and this season was clearly a reminder to stay SAFE and use PROTECTION!!!

Funny enough some parts of this story was adapted from an actual serial killer in san Fransisco called the doodler, he adopted n killed gay guys from a bar but his killings where way brutal

The "clown" is a portrayal of an artist called Klaus Nomi, which was a countertenor and arose to fame due to his unusual way of presenting himself, while mixing elements of classical and pop music. He did some collaborations with David Bowie, and he was one of the first artists in NYC nightlife that died due to AIDS complications. Sadly his short lived famed, left him mostly unknown, but he was considered to be an avant-garde artist comparable to Grace Jones or even Bowie. And yes, he was gay.

I thought the last two seasons of AHS were boring but this takes the cake by far. My GOD was this season absolutely terrible. It wasn’t even horror, it was just a public service announcement about aids. What the hell happened to the AHS writers. The show went from actual horror to political message pushing. SMH

Al in this but, yeah really good movie, ahead of its time in a way.. now and then you have movies spoof things from it, especially when he is in the police station and the big cop in leather comes in and beats him. Trust me. I lost several college friends... Guys were terrified in the early days, terrified. They didn't know alot except it was hitting gay men hard, once it was identified, they still didn't know the incubation period at first. I have a college friend who lost dozens and dozens of friends in NYC. I have a friend who is living with it... It was a horrible time.

Remember when this show was awesome? Asylum was one of the best shows I have ever seen as far as keeping you at the edge of your seat. It just started going down hill and kept going after that. I'm glad I didn't waste my time watching this season. It looks awful.

This season made me bawl like a baby. I remember the 80s advertising as a kid scaring the entire shit outta me. This just gave the fear faces and personalities 😢 Also also Does anyone else think that gay men are the most man a man can be? They're just being themselves with each other already knowing some of the limits and limitations without pretence. Plus being men they're already at the top of the food chain with few predators...
