Daniella Melo IPF Worlds 2019 - Beyond The Platform, takes a look at Dani's Journey of why she got into training and how powerlifting found her. We go behind the scenes at the IPF Worlds 2019 where Dani goes head to head with Amanda Lawrence in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Daniella got into fitness at the age of 16 when her brother forced her to go to the gym and work with a Personal Trainer. Dani weighed 220lbs and wanted to lose weight and be healthier. Being naturally strong she soon caught the Powerlifting bug.
Daniella Melo is an 83kg IPF World Champion and was looking to defend her title.
We are extremely proud to have Dani as a De Novo Athlete, she finished 2nd at the IPF Worlds 2019, losing on bodyweight to Amanda Lawrence.
We are confident Dani will be back stronger next year to take the IPF World Champion crown back.
