The Weeknd is well known for being amazing live and of course, Ariana is Ariana. Ari and Abel are very good friends and have tremendous vocal chemistry too. It is always a treat when they team up. Shout out to the Weeknd's late vocal coach Ron Anderson, who was an opera singer and a very kindly old man. Sadly gone but so instrumental in helping a ton of singers

I agree completely about them both sounding so good live. So often I'm disappointed when hearing a song and then hearing it live from the same person or group and uggggg. The sound system and acoustics in this venue we're very good too. 4th Impact sounds wonderful also when they can hear each other and the venues acoustics are decent.

Tbh exactly THIS is the reason I usually do not like those electronical beats and songs since it often makes sound the singers much more artificial like the voice is edited afterwards, even if it isnt.

I love your comments about the weekend camera and how you were so impressed that he suddenly in your top five.! That’s what I’m talking about! He deserves that. And I love that he wasn’t overshadowed in your book just because Ariana Grande did some fancy high notes. They were both incredible, but most people get distracted easily I find. Kudos to you.

Thanks for analyzing one of my favorite songs, and favorite live performances! I listened to this version non-stop for a while, and I must have listened to the original studio version several hundred times I’m sure. This song and the lyrics mean a lot to me.

Her vocal with [name-drop] Bocelli is like operatic, and like something from above. But this is her best duet from a performance standpoint. Both her and Weeknd kill the music and their enunciation is spot on without losing the fun of the performance. his like top and her drop were extra flavour to make this feel 'more spontaneous' for something done together before...

Saw him twice in the UK last summer, and honestly the best concerts I've ever been to in my life. Even at Wembley in the pouring rain, he was just incredible!

Both my kids have seen these guys live in concert and they, knowing my taste in music, introduced the studio mix of this collaboration to me a while ago. This is my children's generation's music. I lived through the dark wave influences The Weeknd references and the divas that Ms. Grande emulates. This, however, is a wonderful performance. I'm surprised you didn't mention Abel's vibrato, which gave his voice so much life. and the way Ms. G navigates through the lower registers of her voice in this song makes her sound like a woman, something that I fear will take her time to do through her entire register. She has a very rich, full tone when she's down there.

I recommend a song by a Spanish singer. Her name is Diana Navarro with the song "El perdón" she has a very particular voice full of melismas. .she is also a very versatile singer. Singing different musical styles. Greetings from Spain
