I thought it was an RPG and i was like time to download! But then saw my gb. It was 632 mb, not even gb and all i had was Minecraft so, fuck

Now that I think about it, a health bar would be a perfect showdown for deactivating Vanessa. When I first saw this battle, I thought we would have to deplete Vanessa’s health with the chart but nah, it was there for us to play. In an alternate universe, the final battle would make things even more interesting and a purpose to keep playing.

I know, that's probably my favourite ending too. I like to think that everyone died except you, the player, who is actually browsing through everyone's profile after the damage.

That'd be the real story, because in Cytus I we weren't able to interact with the story but only to see it, but in Cytus II we were implicated somehow in the story, so they can make different endings. Meaning that, we live in every ending. It's pretty weird but it's cool, since if we decide to save the humanity, we get to "play" their music further among them. But jesus, I'm really pissed off by those humans who couldn't let Ivy finish so everyone would be fine. At the same time, I'm ok with the true ending's face.

Humanity is a bitch... sometime. I would feel more shattered to know that Ivy is still alive after Vanessa is gone.

Except you’re all not quite nailing it. We may not have chosen to interact with the story, but the game forced us to. This final battle was not the first time the player has interacted with the story, as seen with PAFF’s trying to contact us “again”, meaning all the times she felt a weird presence it was us. This also makes sense when you think about how the player is viewing all of these events play out - like we can see into the OS space; all the photo and video files have things like “CAM” written on it, suggesting it’s from some sort of camera. And how do you look into the contents of a camera that is connected to the internet? By somewhat hacking it, and in our case, it’s the same power PAFF has/Nora had The mere fact that we played a chart to kill Vanessa is a game mechanic for the ending imo 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@charles8032 To get the neutral, ignore PAFF's plea at the beginning (she'll ask you twice) but do click the note when you have to kill Vanessa. For bad end, also ignore PAFF at the beginning AND don't kill Vanessa.

Result : *WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD* Bad Ending : The start screen : Theme : Core of Cytus with awaken Vanessa but the surroundings are filled with plants (I think all people have died) and there is someone beside her (idk who is that). When you get to the character selection, the character image is like vintage colored (like it's an ancient pic). The name of the character and the level interface are written with weird symbols, Suprisingly, if you click one of the characters , there won't be any song selection. There are just plants on the song selection interface (like old plants) (Example : from Ivy's, there are only her screen for song artwork but it's filled with plants) [For Vanessa, if you click on her with bad ending condition. There will be warning signs like on Vanessa's OS if you reach Lv.25] Good Ending : The start screen : As the same as Neutral Ending (Scenery with Vanessa's blue flower). The character image is the same. Neutral Ending : The start screen : The same with Good Ending (Ending difference with good ending : No PAFF's narration and more different scenes) Sorry if my English is bad.

That’s what I think about that scene. Even if she’s not another Vanessa, it still looks like they are using her for some purpose, which means they’re still lying about not using ancient tech behind closed doors. Like Ivy said, humans (at least ARC) never cared about the history and hence repeats the mistake again. This ending may not be as wonderful as it seems. It just postpones the catastrophe.

I would like to see a dlc of her under the name of aesir. Where one half of the storyline is of her during her undercover preforming days. And the other half is her slowly recovering and being brought back from being shot. But both stories fade and switch between each other. #IvyReborn

At the end after the credits, Ivy appears hanging from a wire next to an army of robots, so who knows if this is not a loophole for a new update or cytus 3
