You should use Korean skin care, La Roche tests on animals, and if u buy from brands like that you’re contributing to animal testing and paying money to people who basically tortures animals. Korean skin care is better than American and all those brands actually, plus they’re vegan, vegan skin care never irritates sensitive skin. And almost all Koran brands are cruelty free 🙂 I recommend Cosrx, Hanskin, Klairs

Vanicreams Vitamin C serum is the best on the market! And … it’s under $20! It has the most stable form of Vit C, tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, 4 Ceramides and Carnosine, a rock star Peptide! It comes in a tube with a pump so NO air or light (which destroys the efficacy of the Vitamin Molecules) until you’re putting it on your face! So it’s no surprise their Moisturizers are so fantastic! And yay Gold Bond!

The La Roche-Posay triple moisturizing cream is not that good for dry skin. Doesn't hydrate much and the little hydration is offers does not last long enough. @@ChiniWanders Okay I see so there is a difference between a moisturizer and a hydrator in itself. Thanks for the info. Some products can act the and shall be able to perform both functions. The product I mentioned I do not consider to be much good a moisturizer and it does not hydrate enough. I know everyone skin's is different but the product mentioned it lacks quality. It sure can use an improvement in it's formula. I checked the info on this product it contains some oils and water so it should be able to moisturize and hydrate usually one function more than the other.

I hate how most dermatologist content on everywhere always targets people with normal to dry skin. Having only skin SUCKS and it’s RARE to find consistent valuable content targeting the oily skin population.
@chelsea3187
@chelsea3187 6 күн бұрын
Agreed. Normal/dry skinned people are lucky they can use those moisturizers in the tubs/pumps. Oily skin cannot handle that, and we have to pay more for moisturizers that are smaller & provide lightweight moisture and cleansers that effectively clean the oil/sebum. Not to mention, other products that target pore size, acne, etc. I like Dr. Dray’s content though.

I'm right there with you Girl!!! That's why I don't use most of the products he's recommending! The ordinary is a great brand I love almost all of their products and they are cruelty free! Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray is absolutely wonderful especially with me using my prescription Retin-A Tretinoin Cream,and they are cruelty free! Here is a List of Brand's that DON'T TEST ON ANIMALS AT ALL!!! The Inkey List, Fenty Skin, Glow Recipe, Sweet Chef, Herbivore, Huda Beauty, KVD Beauty, LYS Beauty, Murad, Paula's Choice, Sunday Riley, Tarte, Tatcha, Tower 28, Wander Beauty, Dermalogica, Farmacy, ( now for the Cheaper Drugstore Options ) Pacifica, DERMA E, Alba Botanica, Dove, Shea Moisture, E.L.F ( and I would like to add that they really do have some great skin care and makeup products I love me some Elf ) also for people who want to slug at night if you're looking for cruelty free and vegan then Vaseline is not going to be an option so I have another option for you that is 100% cruelty free and vegan and it is "Vegaline" You can order it on Amazon it's $9.95 for a 2oz Jar!!! As far as vegan and cruelty free Retinol options Herbivore Bakuchiol, Earth's Cure vegan Retinol repairing cream, Authentic By Nature vegan Retinol night cream with Hyaluronic Acid ( Also please note and understand that ANY products that are advertised as vegan retinol contain synthetic retinol, not a plant-based version - because such a thing doesn't exist. ), Pacifica wake up beautiful overnight retinoid cream, Mad Hippie Vitamin A Serum, Sweet Chef Beet and Retinol nightly firming mask, Beauty Pie Japanfusion Genius Lift Elixir, and the KING of the Retin-A Family the undisputed all-time raining champion and best ever skincare ingredient on the planet MY Personal Beloved *Tretinoin Cream*!!! I use this every night and it has transformed my skin! You will have to see a board certified dermatologist to get a prescription you can't buy this over the counter! Now moving on to the last category but probably the most important sunscreens Supergoop, Sun Bum clear zinc sunscreen, Native, Hyggee, MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SUNSCREEN The Beauty Of Joseon ALSO THE BEST SUNSCREEN EVER IN ALL CATEGORIES, Blue Lizard, Coola, Australian Gold, Isntree, Biore, ETUDE House Surprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk also a Good Sunscreen I really enjoyed this one!, Innisfree, Mary and May, Pipette, Missha, Everyday Resting Humans Beach Face, Lunik sentara calming vegan moisture sunscreen, Two Peas Organics! I can't name all of them there's so many! I am a sunscreen fanatic so those are some really good options I just gave you as I also told you I am a animal advocate and animal lover! But by all means anyone who wants to avoid any products with animal testing as far as your sunscreens go stay the Hell AWAY from *EltaMD* they CONSTANTLY do Animal testing on THEIR PRODUCTS! I hope this helps anyone who's interested!

Really love your choice of products. Very informative. I have a question. I want a glow on my face. Is the aloe vera moisturizing gel the right product?

Eminence Organic will fix that-and every other skin issue you have, within a few days. I'm not sure what your budget is but a $60 moisturizer last my 3 months and I over use. It's worth it. My skin is perfect, in every way thanks to them. I use a cleanser, a serum, a concentrate and a moisturizer. And okay around with their masks because they're all amazing. It's one of two skincare lines that actually delivered the results they promise.

If you have dry skin all over your body I would suggest to get your hydration fixed first. Hydration has to happen before extra emollient moisture. NGL that Eminence is a good skincare brand but it's expensive and only sold at participating retailers. The Neutrogena hydro boost body cream fragrance free is a must. It has hyaluronic acid that's in a gel formula. Keep the bottle in the shower and use it from face down before towel drying. This will correct your trans epidermal water loss. Going from head to foot is the flow of the water leaving your body. You can pat dry any remaining moisture. After shower use a lotion or cream and if you want add a few drops of oil. Rosehip, marula etc. whichever you prefer. The added thicker cream will lock in the water that is pulled to your skin with the hyaluronic acid. If you have extra dry spots apply vaseline or any petrolatum product to seal the moisturizer at another level. Drink more water to hydrate your skin from the inside. Having perfect skin does not mean you have to use high priced products. You will see a difference in just one day and your skin barrier will be in top shape after two weeks.

@@valeriesittle6198 Eminence isn't an expensive skincare line. It's extremely reasonable _especially_ considering their superior quality, the amount of product you get and the results they provide within a short time period. If I used the recommended amount of product a $60 moisturizer would last me 6 months like it does most people I know who use it. That's $10 a month. They also have an online website like every other skincare brand. It's 2023 babe, you don't have to go to a physical location to make a purchase. Drinking water is super important for your skin. However, my boyfriend who rarely drinks water had consistently flakey skin before I convinced him to use my creams, serums, etc. His skin, as well as my own, is perfect- my dark hyperpigmentation is completely gone, the fine lines that were beginning to form are no longer visible, my pores went from large open craters to nonexistent (I can't even find where they used to be) and my skin is bright, nourished, and incredibly hydrated. I'm 30 and he is 37 and we both look significantly younger than anyone our same age (people who don't know me personally think I'm 18-20 but "mature for my age"). We all know the saying "you get what you pay for" and cheap drugstore products can be beneficial but they won't produce drastic results like a slightly more expensive brands will. How you look deeply effects how you feel about yourself and I will always suggest Eminence (along with skyandsand, two of the only similarly priced brands that deliver promised results promptly) because I want people to feel good about themselves. It's worth every single penny.

@@Katiee0592 Eminence does have quality ingredients and organic as well and I do know that they have a website. In my profession we always recommend products that are easily readily available. Especially with the elderly people because they prefer to buy things that they can touch. Most of the general public doesn't spend $60 for a lotion with the exception of skincare enthusiasts. One really good thing for you is that you have found what you love. The little things that bring joy matter most!

I had a very sensitive skin and live in a counrty that has a dry environment and I had tried a lot of products. Just to heal the drying l, cracking, redenning and to minimize stinging also to avoid pimples from growing. I use the La Roche Posay Toleraine Dermallergo Creme. I can say la roche posay is a wonderful brand but however its a bit expensive.
