2016, Medvedev calls an umpire biased coz she was showing partiality and favouritism towards his opponent. As a result he gets disqualified on the pretext of racism for daring to question the professional integrity of a black woman umpire when she was clearly being partial towards a certain player. So many people are happy that he got disqualified. So many people showering hate on him. Well, 3 years down the line he's World Rank No 4, and playing in the US Open Finals. Whereas Young and that umpire are nowhere to be seen. So, all those haters can take that hate, turn it sideways and shove it up their candy asses. Being a Rafa fan I'm obviously gonna be rooting for Rafa however, it would be foolish to say that Medvedev isn't a force to reckon. In the match between Lopez and Medvedev, Medvedev owned the USO crowd like a boss. Those people were just a bunch of assholes and Medvedev responded by not giving a fuck and embracing their hate to motivate himself and win the match and then making a savage post-match comment about their hate.

You’re not allowed to accuse an umpire of being biased or showing favoritism regardless of if it was a racist incident or not. It is a code violation to even suggest the umpire is being bias. You can call them an idiot or blind but can’t bring their character into question. Ever seen baseball? It’s kinda the same across all sports and it’s a big no no. Questioning a call is one thing but to say an umpire is conspiring against you or friends with the opponent is a no no.
