Very good mood and positive vibes, go for the trophy, Daniil Medvedev. He is always troubled by his inner demons, sometimes he can be driven by resentment and desire of revenge, but 2022 AO destroyed his fighting spirits and 2023 AO nearly sent him out of the top circle. So glad he finds a way of being honest to himself, yet trying to improve as a person and a player. When he is on fire with positive thoughts, he can be unstoppable, he proved it a couples of time in 2019 summer, 2020 winter, 2021 summer and 2023 spring. This time, he tried to take a longer break and see if he can exploit all his energy in 2024 AO period. Good luck Daniil, many fans are on your side at TV.

It's not just the Aussies. French don't like him. Americans don't like him. Why? Because he showed many time very poor sportsmanship behavior. Might be a nice guy off the court. But can be very nasty player on the court. Will try every possible gamesmanship tactic to win

В седьмом классе поступил в физико-математический лицей «Вторая школа», но после девятого перешёл на обучение экстерном в другую школу. После окончания поступил на дневное отделение факультета прикладной экономики и коммерции МГИМО, в РГУФК и в экономико-статистический институт на заочное отделение. Отучившись год в МГИМО на вечернем отделении, ушёл в академический отпуск, а затем в 2014 году вместе с семьёй переехал во Францию, где тренировался в академии в Антибе.

I hoped WTA/ATP/ITF, would stop this nonsense of mixing sport with politics during AO 2024. Every player should have right to play under her/his country's flag. One cannot choose the country of one's birth. Appointing "flag police" at the AO 2023 was not even childish... it was embarrassing and insane... Wars are run by politicians not sportsmen/sportswomen. Why during the invasion of Iraq, 20 year bombing of Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Pakistan not to mention the genocidal Vietnam war US, Australian, UK... athletes were allowed to compete under their national flag? USA invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet their flag was still allowed at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa despite the fact they were still in Iraq. Either ban ALL flags of countries who go to war, or don't ban any of them. Another example; are Israeli (Para-)olympians responsible for the policy of their government towards Palestinians? *** All wars are equal, but some wars are more equal than others.
