Medvedev spent more energy than Sinner on the way to the final (especially tonight) and looked exhausted in the end of the match. Having in mind that Sinner looked really confident agains Djokovic Daniil needs to have a good rest on Sat to be ready on Sun. I wish him a good luck in the final match!

@@airkunai don’t think I that’s so true btw. We had a couple of lost generations in between, but Alcaraz has won early slams and is highly entertaining. Sinner is an elegant and modern all-round player. I think the current young gen would fare well vs the old one even at their prime.

i really like daniil s style of play he reminds me of a rubber man . like an octopus with incredible speed and range . very fluid in his movements . i think his style confuses opponants as you are never sure which way he intends to move the ball. a well deserved victory . and the man doesnt give up he has a strong mental outlook which is so important for a win

Medvedev reminds me a lot of Djokovic, the longer the match goes on, he gets better, he is mentally stronger and plays better and it is difficult to get into his head, so you can say that he is becoming invincible, he has the real qualities of a champion, I hope he will rest until the final and be ready for sinner, let's go to title medy

Zverev was 2-1 , 4th set tiebreaker with 2 serves to close the match and Meddy at 5-4 hits a forehand inside out winner , 5-5 he hits a return dropshot off a great serve and the cherry on top at 5-6 he hits an ace to make it 2-2 and then win the match in 5 after being 2-0 down , an absolute epic match and beast player is Meddy 😂😂😂😂

Плюс он ещё в тайбрейке в 4м сете на своей подаче двойную ошибку сделал, когда счёт стал 4:5 не в его пользу, а следующие 2 подачи были Зверева - это, конечно, ключевой момент был

Это было эпично, конечно. Кстати, Зверев тоже отметил этот момент как переломный для него в матче

I personally think zverev has given the match a way because he s not a creative player at all. Not a single drop shot throughout the whole match. Medvedev was so far a way, he should have played too many drop shots to wear him down but he preferred to keep hitting on his hands with normal strokes. Drop the God damn ball

@@Zveruchka1976 слишком мощно Синнер смотрится по ходу турнира. Конечно, в ходе матча может случиться что угодно. Янник в последние полгода вышел на новый уровень, это уже уровень лидера тенниса, у него фактически нет слабых мест в игре, мотивация запредельная, голодный до громких побед на Шлемах........ну посмотрим. Я как и вы болею за Даниила. Просто верится с трудом в его успех в этом матче.

Вы только взгляните на этот триллер -матч ,как равный финалу. Саша первые два показал запредельную игру и возвращение в топы только набирает силу. А Даня ,молодец, выгрыз третий гейм , почувствовал свою игру,волну. Финал будет тяжёлым для Медведева против Синнера. Удачи тебе

Brilliant match. Honestly, since covid when federer retired (and nadal pretty much as well just not officially) i havent watched that much tennis, because the quality just wasnt on par. This match, though, this was as high standard as any. Well done to both. (Im surprised eurosport commentator is allowed to say 'russian', poor guy will probably get paycut or something)

Tennis is not figure skating; effectiveness matters even if it doesn't look super pretty. His style may not be elegant but it's difficult to predict where his shots will go and he rarely makes unforced errors. He uses his wrists exceptionally well and can change the direction of the shot last moment or place slow, angled cross courts to open up the court. There are many other weapons that make him a lethal opponent - incredible speed, perseverance, endurance and his strategic prowess, to name a few.

Я человек совсем далекий от тенниса. Смотрел турнир Ярыгина по вольной борьбе. В перерывах между трансляциями увидел новость что Медведев проиграет 0:2 , потом вижу что сравнял . И думаю надо глянуть, попал на самый конец. Что сказать: Красавец! Удачи в финале Даня . Это чемпионский уровень. Саше тоже всего наилучшего.

Great comeback from Medvedev, I wasn’t expecting this to be such a tight one, I predicted Medvedev to win in 4, for some reason I feel sorry for Zverev as he mentally shots himself down far too many times , you could see the difference in his play from the first 2 sets to the end of the 3rd as soon as the match got thigh he turned into passive mode, he had a shot at winning in the 4th breaker but squandered again .

He’s got to get credit for trying , to become a pro Tennis player was a massive achievement for his ability but to win a GS and beat players with so much more talent is unbelievable, how he won this match is crazy, looked totally lost for 3 sets and still won, expect he’ll do the same in the final, who’d bet against this guy, I’d have lost everything today on Sasha !

How can you bet on Sasha 🤣🤣own fault and it’s pathetic to say meddy has less talent especially then zverev. 12-7 in their h2h for meddy and 4 of these 7 losses were more than 5 years ago. He is the better player especially mentally.
