Man I have been in a truly dark place this past year… the past month has been especially difficult for me and I’ve been really struggling. Your videos have always been something that put a smile on my face. Your sense of humour, the cadence of your voice, your passion… its truly amazing what you’ve built here. I stumbled across your videos fairly early on in your start. You maybe had 20-30 videos at the time and I binged them all! These mega complications have been the only things that have put a smile on my face in a very long time. I haven’t laughed this much in a long while. You are truly a fantastic individual and your content means so much to myself and many others. I hope this break serves you well. I know burnout isn’t easy and I know that you have thousands of people (myself included) who will happily await your return. Even if you decided to reduce the number of videos to monthly. So I'm just checking in to say this is me 1 min after finishing this entire compilation, so I guess that means I've watched every vid you've put here now..only downside is youtube isn't going to know this and will keep pushing them like a madman. Oh well. Honestly fantastic channel mate and it's been really cool to get to see your channel develop and grow over so many years compressed to such a short timespan (probably taken me about 1.5 weeks to get through them all) and *massive* respect for putting up all the paid content for free now that you're changing things, honestly about half of those videos are at or exceeding the main channel videos in quality imo. Plus I *adore* Frank and any content with her is awesome. It's also been fun/funny to see some of your consistent biases too- having so many years squashed down makes them stand out since they change very little relative to everything else. However similarly it's been a pleasure to see you remain rock solid consistent with your overall approach to reviewing/having an opinion on things *especially* with your anti-elitist and user experience focused approach. Lastly- I feel you're often *way* to hard on yourself when it comes to seeing yourself as a 'proper' audio guy. I watched you go from a near absolute newbie, to being *extremely* nervous to deploy the freaky ear microphone having to caveat it every time to becoming comfortable with it and offering your opinion on how it *actually* sounds in person instead, as well as your tastes and ability to describe and compare them improve leaps and bounds. You are genuinely very experienced at this point and I would *love* to see you continue your super positive approach with more confidence in your process. On a selfish note I would also love to see that super insane expensive headphone microphone rig thing at *some* point in the future still. You're exactly the right kind of guy to have one because your perspective is so accessible. In fact in an ideal world I'd really like to see you get proper training/teaching on the more technical side of how headphones sound and to have almost a little 'lab' setup for it, much in the same way that LTT but *espetially* Gamer's Nexus is going since they have a hemi-anechoic chamber now and are also getting more 'serious' (and I've commented before that a collab with you in that kinda chamber but with your normal setup full 'nuggeteering' would be *hilarious.* Technical audio review skills can be taught (and go very nice with your fancy three music degrees ;) ) but your open and kind approach to audio is something that cannot which is why I think you're perfect for helping people get deeper into audio. Oh and big props for not forgetting your nugget-y iPod roots, those early vids were a mess in the absolute best possible way and I somewhat missed them as time went on, the anniversary thing was a great idea. Anyway I better stop now because I could go on for a couple of hours about how great of a journey it's been and of how uniquely wholesome and enjoyable this channel is. Hope you enjoy your well deserved time off (and *actually* take it off) and greatly looking forward to all the things you're gonna do in the future, too.

1:27:00 Some Phillips GoGear nuggets had the .exe for Phillips Songbird in their firmware. I'm surprised that it didn't work without the software though. A bunch of my nuggets that use this software just show up as two USB storage devices. One with the EXE and the other for access to the media folders.

It is amazing seeing these in such a great, bingeable format. looking at the christmas catalogue at around 2:17:00, I would not exactly call pokemon red/blue "finished". They fucked up the ghost/psychic interactions entirely (there's dialogue in game saying that they intended on ghost being super effective against psychic, instead of psychic being immune to ghost). It's impossible to play those games without running into a big glitch. Luckily they're simple enough so the glitches mostly don't crash the game.
