keep in mind that it's literal year of non stop playing night and day

How's that surprising? Mods, including Multiplayer mods, are the only reason people play that game so much to begin with. And you don't get Achievements if you've got mods that alter the gamestate in any way.

Looks like it came down to quality divisions who could push the heavy tanks. Even if they couldn't defend against them. And Dankus co-ordinating micro to deal with the light tank sweepers as best as they were able. Was really really close, but by pinning the light tank sweeps, and encircling as many armor divisions as possible, they ended up in a position to do some encircling of their own, and the Soviets tried to counter encircle. Which was probably going to work, except the Germans just barely got there in time to cut the snake off and turn it into an encirclement before they encircled Dankus. Which led to the Soviets having a serious shortage of divisions to counter attack, and their infantry wasn't high enough quality, so ultimately, the front line collapsed and DDay was pushed out pretty well, so GG was called. Apparently by declaring war against America to trigger a nuclear option.

@@glenmcgillivray4707 yes, but for example, Golden for once played a very good Italy game without losing millions in Africa for no reason (he did lose millions in Africa, but he stalled the Allied for a good period of time at least), Nayf played very aggressively and was effective as Spain, Romania for the most part did a good job of not getting brap trapped too much, and Bo played a very competent game considering the condition they started, with many good strategic decisions on when and were to focus their limited troops. It was a razor edge win, but any competent Allied team would have rolled the Axis in 41 or 42 at most considering the start. Also, when you see Germany take Leningrad and being just outside of Moscow, and then retreat to Stalin line, usually it's a Soviet win, because of buff and stuff, and yet their infantry was dogshit and they went on with these super fast tanks even when Germany had TDs to counter.
