"'Fire Bolt" not "Fireball." By the way, in DnD there is nothing humble about the spell "Fire Ball." It's an area affect spell that basically says "I want to indiscriminately destroy absolutely everything and everyone within this 20 foot circle."

actually, at level 4, his stats are on par with the average level 6. When he hits level 5, his stats will most likely be on par with a level 8. So on, so forth

In Next seasons you will see Bell high level 4 (ready for 5) have 0 chance against one mid level 6. He can defeat a level 5 using Argonaut skill but no chance against 6

bell did go almost toe to toe with asterius who practically is a lvl7, sure he was quite wounded with missing a arm but its still impressive. and bell was just lvl 3, and after the latest season he is a high lvl 4 by my asumption. So i think with stats alone he could compete with a lvl 6 like tione and dont forgot he has the argonaut skill.

The way the formula works is (roughly) that the cumulative base stats you earn act as the base of the formula, with the level being the exponent. So even though bell has ~1200 avg per stat per level at level 4, this is a 3600 base to a power of 4. Someone like ais may only have ~700 average base stats per level at level 6, but this means her ~3500 base stat is to the power of 6. Bell can somewhat evenly fight someone a level higher than him if 1. They are near the start of their level, (like aiz is now, or the appolo guy was back then) and 2. He is near the max of his current level

@@pendora4182 it's kinda hard to level up Bell's familia members, I mean Fujino Omori basically designed the whole falna system where your stats must reach a certain level before you are eligible to enter the next level. Besides it will take a lot of time to raise those stats. In addition, after getting the basic requirement stat, you have to perform a near impossible feat ( overcoming adversity etc.) which is pretty hard to do as there's a high chance of death. Bell's the only one who broke the system cause of his Unique skill. Therefore letting him raise his stats by a large amount. The other Hestia familia members like Welf reached Level 2 after a month or so in the main story. As of where we are (Season 5 arc for example) is half a year since Bell became an adventurer. The only way I can see Bell's familia members ranking up again is if the author creates a cheat like thing that will allow the other familia members to get stronger faster like Bell which is unlikely P.S: I heard a rumour that Fujino Omori wants the main story to finish without Bell's age changing (14 years old )

But isn't he using that one shot ability ..I don't think he can fire 2 at the same time he hast to wait for the cold down or something..

No, it's because firebolt is a fusion of a fire ball spell and lightning bolt spell. I mean the reason he got it might have something to do with that, but it was always supposed to be fire and lightning together

​@@MegaHI32yes. back when he read a grimoire, he described what magic he wants: he wants a powerful spell(represented by fire) and at the same time, he wants it to be fast, like Ainz(represented by lightning). It resulted to FireBolt, a very simple, but powerful magic that doesnt require any incantation to use

I'm not sure if it was a bigger blast, but that firebolt (season1) was not able to down the Goliath. Plus, this time it was a quicker cast.

@@vindeeTo be fair, it was a regenerating monster. He did blast half of the head off. Most monsters just drop a crystal on death. You don't need to destroy the crystal to kill them.

​@@kingsalmon2315 Well yea the goliath was an anomaly. But tbh the final blow kinda takes the spotlight off the firebolt, rendering it less impressive. And the monster/s (Deadly Hornets and Bloody Hive) he burnt here aint no joke either. From the wiki: "It is the most troublesome monster that can be encountered around the area it is located according to Aisha, being compared to a Floor Boss by Daphne". To delete them in mere seconds is worth some praises no?

@@vindee But just the fact that he's levels higher than he was before, and everyone is reacting as if he's doing something they've never seen before when they've seen bigger things from him.

@@kingsalmon2315 You make a point. But damn its not that deep. Them being surprised is just a way to add some awe to the scene making it feel more powerful, trying to generate hype expected for a season opener.
