On the second hour of the Southern Charm Reunion, Danni tells Kathryn she is hurt by her newfound friendship with Madison. Meanwhile, Madison, Danni and Shep go head to head. Finally, Austen has to answer the question of whether or not he made up the rumor about Shep and Danni.

ABOUT SOUTHERN CHARM:
This season on Southern Charm, Kathryn looks to take her place at the top of the social hierarchy, next to the matriarch of Charleston, Patricia; while managing a new house, new boyfriend and new sense of self. Cameran accepts her life as a mother and struggles to find a work-life balance that allows her to keep her edge. Craig has a renewed sense of self and hires a personal assistant to keep him on track. Austen is in a new relationship with Madison, and working on getting his beer distributed in Charleston. Shep, skeptical of Austen’s new relationship, is still flying solo but learning the art of responsibility by becoming a puppy dad to a new dog, aptly named Little Craig. Chelsea settled down with a long-distance boyfriend and renovated her new house on James Island. Naomie has a new relationship and began her own company. I understand why Kathrine ignores the phone, because I do it too. It’s tough to explain to other people who don’t have depression. You feel dumb. You feel ashamed. None of your reasons seem valid when said out loud, and yet they feel valid at the time.

As someone who doesn't experience these feeling I can see where her friends are coming from - 'How hard is it to send a text msg' etc thoughts. It's great that Kathryn is opening up about this as educates all of us. Hopefully through her being open people can be more upstanding of depression, especially in the workplace.

Pink Paws - Oh, definitely! Their feelings are completely valid and understandable. My own parents felt the exact same way until I’d been through enough therapy to learn how to explain what was happening. Even now, with all that we’ve discussed and experienced, it still hurts them. *Of course it does.* It hurts me too, more than they could ever know. I do my best to reach out when and how I can, and they do their best to give me space and remind me that they still love me. I’m always always ALWAYS worried that one day they’ll decide I’m just not worth the effort. On top of that, I feel like a huge burden which leads to more avoidance, which then feeds back into the initial problem. It’s hard to see a way out sometimes. You sound like a compassionate person, and people like you make it a little easier to feel less ashamed. Thanks for that. Every single act of kindness helps.

I ignore friends and phone calls constantly for weeks on end...im not at all depressed about anything at all...i just want to be left the fuck alone. I just don't like to be bothered by people and i live for alone time...and i find that perfectly normal. Most people need to be surrounded by friends and doing things...i just love alone time. I think some people like to be alone...most people get lonely cause they don't like themselves or their own company. I don't have that problem.

Nai Nai I understood her isolation better when she explained why she avoided phone contact. But personalize your notifications where you know who it is from the sound. There are other ways to filter who she wants to respond to and who she doesn't. I think she's overall emotionally disconnected bc she's still situating how to function with severe anxiety.

Micki D - Madison is not likable in any way. She does have good hair, but that's all. Austin is such a fool to put an dellible stain on his life on tv. What I see in his future is, even if he marries a good younger childless girl, he will be a cheater who keeps sneaking to experienced hardcore older women. His thing with Madison is only about physical encounters. More like what Shep had with Kathryn. Much as Shep likes Kathryn, he will not take her home to mama or marry. I stand by my original statement, he is disconnected. As far as his salary is concerned, it's doubtful that He earns more than everyone on the show, as each cast member earns about 350k a year. Last time I checked, Anesthesiologist earns a good salary but not more than 350k yearly. Her husband has to work for his money, several of the cast members are trust fund kids, they have wayyyyy more money than Cam. It's my OPINION that He's only on the show bc Cam doesn't have an interestung storyline anymore. Her 350k yearly was probably at stake. AND Cam admitted he was disconnected! In the delivery room and in everyday life. The way she reacted to Metul and Craig is really unusual!! She told Craig he looks so good that if she wasn't married, she would be attracted to him! SHES BORED!! Signs of a neglected woman.

Shep appears to be a nasty, and angry drunk. Cam was right about him needing to get right with himself and do some soul searching. The dude is trying to numb something, and the way he lashes out. Not to mention constantly needing to party, hook up, etc. Its like he’s afraid to be alone... with himself.

I love Danni . Her comment about being a better friend to my girl Katherine is very true.Katherine has been hurt and not being able to navigate the cruelty of Thomas she is still young and he played her. I hope she learn what true friendship is. All the women are basically pulling for Katherine but I feel she has understood what real friends are about and how to act when she comes across it. As I said before she is young and I hope she figures it out. Girl Danni is a real friend and I Madison isn’t to be trusted.

I think she is always accurate with well thought out opinions - so she's more like a wise aunt who will tell you you're soooo wrong, but with 'all due respect, your honour'... haha!. She's a nice and clean snob. Intelligent. Will join in for any madness and fun, but knows when to stop, dress up and go to the office, then home to baby and intellectual husband. She's the good girl that got away for Shep. In an ideal world, she's the one he would change for, my guess. She tried to match-make Chelsea for Shep but I think she needs to work on Shep himself so he can open up about what lies beneath his troubles.

Frankly, Shep and his lap dog are more to blame in this. Austin tells Shep's secrets to her, and yet he allows Shep to talk to her like trash. No real man would put up with a friend talking to a girl that he cares about like that. Then you have Shep getting in their personal business, and talking to her like trash. Then he taunts her and says that he has nothing to hide. Well, he did. He gambled on that one and lost. Poor Danni was collateral damage. Danni should be pissed off at Shep. If I were her, I would tell the truth, but I can see why she is taking it out on Madison. It's misplaced though.

They need to change the name of the show to southern not so charming. Danni is such a nice girl. You can tell that she’s just a good soul. I think the same is true for Chelsea and Naomi. They’re really secure women and don’t need any pretense. I think Cameron came off a little catty and whiney this year but then she had a lot to work with in her observations. As far is the men. If I were any woman in Charleston I would shop outside of that city because there are no men in Charleston they’re all little boys. Trust me.....I lived there for a long time. Madyson....ick..

It's not the first time Kathryn has turned her back on a friend , look how she treated Jennifer Snowden! She completely had Kathryn's back! She got mad at Jennifer because she accepted Thomas handkerchief when she was crying about her unborn sons illness at the reunion! And when her son was born, Kathryn didn't even call to check on her nor her son! Kathryn is a selfish person!

The rumor was made up. By Austin and Madison to get back at shep and Danny at one time Aistin couldn't look anyone in the eye..story was thier was an incident about shep and chlamydia but it wasn't Danny that was involved.

Danni can't get through a sentence without bursting into tears.She knows the STD story is true.I think she was afraid her mother would find out.She talks tough on camera,yet cries for everything said to her.Where is her boyfriend,Gentry? He sounds as fake as his name.I think she's in love with Kathryn.She would babysit her kids when Kathryn had custody of them.She also lied in court for Kathryn multiple times.Kathryn is a user,she even had Madison watching her kids while she went out partying.

Why do what you don't want Thomas to know - then plead with friends to cover for you Kathryn? Danni is totally right and I'm pleased she finally stated this on a reunion platform. You give silent treatment to supporting friends yet even kids know who's calling. Your friends worry and point this out because they know the realities. If you want them to protect you from Thomas, pick up the phone and tell them why you are not turning up, for example.. One visit somewhere and you bring home a man, so in love with that young naïve singer. Was he really going to turn into a husband and stepdad? What did you hope to achieve by forcing Witney to admit to misbehaviour? It's sad.
