Your boating holiday looks relaxing and fun. The plant at 18:03 is a Nasturtium leaf. Both the leaves and flowers are very tasty in salads and soups :)

The leaf you were eating is a nasturtium leaf. They are great for adding to salads and they grown easily in UK. The flowers are pretty too.

I thought there was some really first class editing on this one. Especially liked the fade out with the time lapse looking back at the boat with it's lights on as it went dark. Also, have to say I just adore the times when Danni is trying to get the name of a town or some other word correct. Priceless

Really enjoyed video, and after our narrowboat adventure on the Macclesfield and Peak Forest this year, we’re excited to try Le Boat in France with the entire family! P.S. - should’ve eaten out more! Haha

Everything there seems so much more open, more spacious. It's beautiful, but in a different way than your narrow boat in England, which I also like. Great video, thanks for sharing!

Yeah exactly that. It’s nice to get a feel for other countries water ways. This canal is so wide compared to ours! 😂

Another great video and the scenery beautiful and you both made it look so easy driving that boat. And all that room for you both it must have felt different compared to your narrow boat which I think it is a cosy little home .

hi i reckon you should give river cruising on the norfolk broads and i would recommend booking with either richrdsons in stalham or barnes brinkcraft in wroxham its easy to get to both places

Your mystery leaf is the Nasturtium. The flowers are actually the tastiest bit and make a great addition to salads.

@@shoreylife we always use the Riverford recipe - www.riverford.co.uk/recipes/french-onion-soup but always double it as it's never enough! & make sure to use red wine & beef stock especially this time of year!

Yeah we passed around 10 narrowboats in total so they must get on fine - also check out the book 'Narrow Dog To Carcassonne' if you haven't already - true story about a couple taking theirs down to where we finished!

Great video, love your choice of music in all your videos. I am a French resident and was looking to go back to uk and buy a narrow boat as after 15 years I am feeling a little home sick but after seeing this I wonder if I should give the canals here a go first. Just out of interest, on the manned locks is there a fee or are they all free. Looking forward to your next video.

This is my full time job now believe it or not! I spend roughly 3 days a week editing the videos and admin - the rest of the week we're usually cruising and filming!
