4 жыл бұрынRecently, we had 25th anniversary of DJ Quik's "Safe + Sound" album - one of the greatest West Coast & G-Funk albums of all time, made by one of the best and underrated producers ever.
DJ Quik production skills are legendary and he also made some great beats for Danny Boy durning his Death Row dayz. "Steppin'" and it's G-Funk remix are the perfect example of pure G-Funk sound at it's finest!
Hearing those records, it's a damn shame Danny Boy's Death Row album was never released, as it was clearly going platinum plus with tracks like that! #deathrowrecords

As a fan of hip-hop since I was 7 (2000) it's crazy to look at all my favorite albums and say, "oh, that came out 20+ years ago". And these guys are still putting out quality shit when they do drop, even if that is getting more and more seldom.

All 9…. Albums of Quik are fire. Albums that can listen to start to finish. Then ya have albums like “The Konnectic” prod Quik. Sausage Free/Mausburg presents… If never listened to it…..❤️❤️ Redman is another, first 5 like Cube❤️

Dope original G Funk ! Yes true it's a "smothin' 4 da mood" self reprise from Quik himself to make this beat for Death Row Rec, great made as usual ! Danny boy did the rest and the women vocals in the back too. So smooth ... Was listenin' to DJ Quik Music since I was 3rd grade back to 1996 walkin' home from school; Much love from South Side of France

Wish they put out Danny Boy album in the 90's it would have went gold at least Suge just promoted the rap artist he was all in on 2Pac he should have done like Master P did put a album every few months Danny album is dope even though it officially came out in 2010 what could have been smh.....
