Been using korda gear for years now and love every bit of it. I love when new gear comes out as its always great quality! My 8yr old son comes with me now and he had two 20lbers in a 24 hour session this week. Cant tell you all how proud that made me! He loves to watch the korda vidoes with me also! Keep it up Danny and team, great stuff!!

Will be ordering a couple of these - made the mistake of buying some Kevin Trash retainers recently - stitching burst on first time of using and so did the stitching on the Trash cradle I also bought.........not happy!! Don't get me started on how restrictive the Indulgence sleep systems are either. All of it is going straight on marketplace.......

I had no idea Danny had a hand in the original Trakker retention slings , really baffled me when they changed it to them horrible square designs , I’ve still got 2 of the original Trakker ones and i love em however I couldn’t wait for these to be released and my local tackle shop is currently holding 2 for me 🙂👍

I've only been fishing for 3 years now, and the best decision I made 2 years ago was buying quality products that last and that generally means Korda. I bought the sling the weekend it came out and used it the next day. My old sling was large and cumbersome, this in comparison was miles ahead. It's light, the material really is much better and kinder to the fish, just touching it makes that abundantly clear. The zips are as smooth as silk, the drop on the material makes carrying the fish easier, the bag is a good size and easily fits the sling back in. All this, and I paid the same price as I did for the other one. Only Korda could make something as, let's be honest, boring as a sling to keep a fish in, and make it a quality product that you delight in using!

I’ve always been a loyale Korda tackle follower 90% of my gear is Korda and what isn’t is trakker and always been more than happy with there products BUT I have to say I’m pretty disappointed with the new FLAGSHIP LANDING NET , as the bolt through the spreader block keeps comming loose even with the use of lock tight ! Think that could be better Danny
@YorkshireDroneFlyerАй бұрын
The few times i have retained for daytime pics theyve gone wild flapping when trying to get pics due to regaining all their energy so i dont retain now take the hit and get a shitty night shot. Anyone else noticed the same and if so how do you overcome this?
@Ian-ju2zqАй бұрын
When is the net in shops?
@tonycheadle9285Ай бұрын
Korda do great gear. I have to say that getting fish back asap is key. There's too many times you see anglers talking to the camera while holding a fish, then doing unnecessary return shots. Sort out your gear, get them out, unhook them, weight, photo, stick them back in the water. Return shots are completely unnecessary.😮
@neilt3829Ай бұрын
Plenty of products on the market exactly the same!! For half the price. KORDA is just well marketed.

The best carp safety is get them back into the water as quickly as possible without excessive photos. Do not retain carp until light. Also close the lakes for several weeks after spawning
@user-bl5jr5vz6iАй бұрын
You should not encourage anglers to retain carp until light. It must be very stressful for the carp to be enclosed in such a small environment (We will never know the internal long term damage and they just want to be free again).Just take the photos and release the carp so they can go back to their daily routine.

Great gear from danny 👏 but carp should not be laid on a mat of any kind they should be placed in a high sided cradle for their own safety
@tuxedot7949Ай бұрын
I don’t use retainers they are for noddys , any proper angler knows a carp is better off in a real carp sack , I’ve seen fish distressed and jumping in them fucking things , it stresses them out being suspended ,,, facts
@KingcarparpeggioАй бұрын
That doesn’t seem a very accurate way of weighing a fish. You’re zeroing the sling and then introducing it back in to the water to take on a lot more water. I’m sceptical about this method purely because I don’t believe it can be a very accurate weighing. I need convincing.
@airriflemaniacАй бұрын
I've always zeroed my sling presaturated, only so much water they can take on
@garythwilliams8732Ай бұрын
Yep always wet the sling first before zeroing your scales not zero them dry first
@daveshaw5293Ай бұрын
Dip tbe sling in water first then shake it then place your sling on the scales (zero them )then in the cradle with it, then put the fish in it with the broken down net remove the net - no excess water included and correcto weight good luck
@KingcarparpeggioАй бұрын
@@garythwilliams8732 : Well that’s pretty obvious mate !
@KingcarparpeggioАй бұрын
@@daveshaw5293 : That would be good enough for me but it’s still not accurate ……definately not if you’re going to claim a record or even a PB. This business of putting landing net in sling is unnecessary bollocks, another idea that someone has dreamt up…..more chance of fish damage than doing it how we’ve always done it. It doesn’t get my support for fish safety. Thanks for your comment. Just as another thought….I use the Reuben Heaton Sportscale digitals ….same as Korda digitals, now they settle on a fixed weight which could be wrong if even only a couple of ounces of extra water were in that sling….remember water is heavy ……a gallon is 10lbs so you don’t need much to add a couple of ounces !! Tight lines !!!
