I have witnessed Danny Lee around young kids with virtually nobody following him around; the nicest guy anybody will ever run into...really a class act. Treats the kids like they were his own, free gloves, signed stuff etc.. We'll forgive this one incident, as we know what this game can do to us all, even pros. However, he is a professional, hopefully we'll see him on the winner's circle holing a single putt instead next time he makes news.

@Hoa Tattis Completely 100% wrong. Different parts of the Bible has been discovered over the centuries. The Old Testament is being proven correct every day. I’m really trying hard to see what he did that was “bad”. Dude just lost it and threw away an chance at being competitive. He knew it, we knew it, and it directly led to him slamming his putter into the bag out of frustrated anger, and ultimately withdrawing from the tournament. He could have been more professional, but he didn’t swear at anyone (that we heard). He didn’t damage anyone else’s property. Dude gets a pass from me.

I drove off the first,a par 4, straight down the middle and popped a 7 iron nicely on the green and i thought 'What was i nervous about? Im going to par the 1st hole at The Belfry ' 5 minutes later im walking off the green with a 9. Gutted and humbled all at once :)

I know that feeling. Once on a par 5 I hit it into a green-side trap on my third shot. I took three strokes to get it out, only for it to go into another trap on the other side of the green. I took two to get it out of there, and it went back into the first trap. Then I repeated the entire process. Having by then lost count of my strokes, I picked up the ball, gave myself a theoretical "15" and went on to the next hole 😁

It happens specially when you have a speed of 18 on stimpmeter. It really sucks.

golf can do this to a person, he will no doubt be regretful for losing it so much, shud have just done the Stenson on it if there was water nearby and casually throw the club in while walking off the green lol

It really is some game. For most of us who take it seriously, but don't have the talent to do it for a living, it really may not be worth it. This past Saturday, I hit the ball as well as I ever have, and at a difficult course; booming drives, powerful, controlled irons, hit 11 greens, shot 80, which is about the worst I could have scored. I go out two days later, still sore, after a lot of push ups and pullups on Sunday, but feeling ready to play. I proceed to hit 3 shanks in the first 5 holes and walked off on the 6th, scarred for future rounds, questioning my swing, questioning whether I should eventually relocate to an area with a golf lifestyle. In short, I went from the penthouse to the outhouse in 72 hours. Lost again. Smh.
