I'm back enjoying the incredibly talented women of LOVEBITES and their new single "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)!" I made sure not to listen to the album before I could shoot this video so I didn't accidentally hear it before seeing the video. Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoy! LOVEBITES new album Judgement Day is available everywhere via JPU Records.
If you enjoy my videos, consider supporting me on my other social media sites, listening to my music or purchasing some merchandise by checking out the Linktree below. Thank you again for all your support!

Old school thrash is my favorite. Exodus is my favorite thrash band. Slayer, Megadeth, Grip Inc., Heathen, and many more. Meshuggah, Sepultura.... you get my point. Lovebites is a metal band. They play Power Metal better than every Power Metal band I've ever heard. They play thrash better than my favorite thrash bands. They toss their influences into a blender, add multiple sub genres, and mix on high. It comes out Lovebites Metal. I'm 62 and have been listening to thrash since its beginnings. Never thought I'd find a band in 2022, a band that formed in 2016, that measures up to the era of metal I love the most. Virtuoso's across the board. I don't think any Super Group measures up to them. I'm pretty sure I'll be taking Lovebites as my all-time favorite band to my grave.

Truer words on this band have not been spoken. I was listening to the new album on the way to and from work yesterday and the level of skill, the execution of so many trash bands melded into one and the power metal aspect all flowed flawlessly. They're amazing musicians.

Thanks for featuring them and putting out the word. Yes, they really know the old-school stuff well, and they always cite the classic 70's and 80's bands as influences. So why not just do an old-school thrasher? perfect, of course.

Oh it's 100% LOVEBITES metal. The main riff for me was very Motorhead, it just triggered something in my head which then led me to old school Metallica and Garage Days Metallica haha! It was super nostalgic and just amazing!

Can’t go wrong with Lovebites, amazing as always. As much as I like their “Battle Dress” it’s nice to see them in everyday clothes having fun, Asame looks like she went “shopping” in Yukina’s (from Hanabie) closet, so cute!!

Old school = no backing synth-track on this one. Fire! Also had my earbuds out listening to this and realized that Asami is reaching up to high G on "and" in the chorus. Between this song and "The spirit lives on" her voice will get a real workout in concert performances. Also, I hope they keep the harmonies, which means most everybody sings. On this recording, it sounds like Asami is overdubbing herself.
@dannyleftridgemusic

Yeah, I heard no synths on this one listening back on ear buds yesterday. I heard a little bit of synth or orchestral elements here and there but they were very spare. Also, "The Spirit Lives On" might be my favorite track on the album! Asami has a killer vocal range!

A good reaction turned into a great one when you said "if more people would dance to metal"! Whatever the style of music, live or recorded, dancing makes it better. I was just at Louder Than Life festival recently, and my calves were recovering for four days afterward! Yeah, I had a blast!

I enjoyed your reaction. Consider reacting to their new song "Dissonance". There is no music video, but the song is quite different to anything they've done previously. It has almost a death/doom metal vibe to it (obviously I'm talking about the music, not the vocals).

You said you hadn't listened to this song yet or the album but your reply to David Anus says different your favourite song on album is The Spirit lives on which you listened to the day before! Be honest about things and maybe you won't get so much negative feedback.

I think your timeline might be off slightly. I responded to David the day after I posted the video I believe. But once I shot the video I went and listened to the album the same day. I waited two days to listen to it just to shoot the video. I apologize if there seemed to be some dishonesty but I assure you there was not.

@@dannyleftridgemusic I'll clarify right away . This is your channel and you have the right to make Reactions as you see fit. I went in, started watching, expressed my opinion and left. Nothing personal. 🤗 I have no intention of offending you. It was just my opinion on your reaction. But since you are asking for an explanation, I will try to explain why I left such a comment. I'm sorry, but this will be a big text. The brain is arranged in such a way that an ordinary person cannot simultaneously speak and qualitatively (100%) perceive information entering the brain from external sources (visually, audio, tactilely, etc.). Especially the audio. Therefore, in the course of evolution, people have developed a rational tool for communication between them, which is called dialogue. One speaks, the second is silent and listens carefully to understand what and how (emotions) the first one says. And vice versa. If 2 people (or more) say something to each other at the same time, then this does not lead to 100% perception of information by the brain and understanding of each other. Some of the information is bound to slip away. Moreover, it can lead to a quarrel between people. Think about your life situations, maybe something similar happened in your life. A sports commentator tells, for example, about a football or hockey match. He does not need to listen and understand someone carefully. He simply says what he sees, using one channel for information to enter his brain - visual. And practically "turning off" another channel of information entering the brain - audio. The noise of the spectators in the stands does not count. It's just a background noise that the commentator's brain does not try to penetrate. By practically turning off one channel (audio) of information, the commentator manages to more or less assimilate the visual information entering his brain and transmit it to viewers who watch this match on TV. Now directly about Reactions. You are checking a song that is completely unfamiliar to you. If you sincerely want to understand, feel it, catch all the sounds of the instruments, the nuances of the arrangement, etc. then you need to focus on the song. When you start talking a lot, commenting on what is happening + turn your face to the camera, distracted from the monitor (you don’t see the video sequence in these seconds), then some of the information escapes your brain, even if you are a professional musician. When this is done many times throughout the song, your impression is based on incomplete information. This is where your perception of the song and the band comes from. There is a saying: "You can't make a first impression twice" Sorry if it's difficult. But I tried to explain as simply as possible, not using complex terms from psychology, etc. and so on. If you need my advice, I can offer the following. Listen carefully and watch the new song without being distracted by the comments. It is advisable not to take a break. Then your brain will receive complete information in the form of audio and video. You will better understand what you saw and heard. I understand that often you want to say something important during the song. Plus you need to pauses because KZfaq can block the reaction due to copyrights, etc. If you need to say something urgently, then click on "Stop". Just do not stretch the pause for 3-5 minutes, as some Reactors do. It feels like when they chat for 5 minutes about minor points (what amplifier, what clothes the vocalist has, remember some moments of their life, etc.), they have already forgotten the melody of the song. After a pause, rewind the song a little back (for 10-20 seconds) and turn it on again.Try to make the main comments after the end of the song, when you have already heard + seen it in full. Your conclusions and comments will be based on the completeness of the information received. And in conclusion. When you check a song, keep in mind that 70-80% of the people who will watch your reaction may be fans of this band. Accordingly, they may not like the inattention shown to the song, the band, the frequent stoppage of the video, etc. and so on. Next time, some fans will not want to see your reaction to other songs of this band. And will ignore your channel. I wish you success with your channel and enjoy the music you react to.🤘😊

Stop trying to guess what they are going to do next, you clearly are clueless. It doesn’t help your reputation constantly guessing wrong anyway. Try at least listening to a few of Lovebites albums first.

I’ll get right on that lol. My reputation? I’m a random person on KZfaq trying to enjoy music that people recommend & capture what I’m thinking & what’s going through my head as I see something for the first time. If you don’t care for my content that’s cool, don’t watch it. I don’t do this for anything but fun when I have time. Either way, you don’t have to be rude to anyone because you don’t care for something. Have a good day or evening or whatever it is wherever you are.
