Well, there is a rush. Because Liverpool & Bayern will hire someone else & he'll miss that boat for a few years. But with Ancelloti leaving next year, he could wait for that. But in every interview I've seen of Xabi since he left Liverpool until now. He's said After Sociedad Liverpool is his first love of all the teams he's plated for. So I think he'd choose Liverpool over Bayern. Unless his family want to stay in Germany for a while longer. I'm not sure what his family situation is, with his kids schooling etc.. But if it's purely football reasons. I think he'd choose Liverpool

NO TUCHEL.. Def not at LFC, with the trajectory our rebuilding is taking. He can't cut it at high performing clubs, I think that's been on display pretty much. It is Alonso for me because he seems a tactically inclined manager who will get time (& affection) from the fan base to get a style of play that will get trophies.

He has the right philosophy and mentality to be a great manager and I’m sure if he came to Liverpool the club will give him everything he needs to be successful. They will know that as a young manager he will need an experienced team around him and not to expect things to click immediately. He will need time to settle and I also hope people don’t compare him to Klopp as it will be impossible to emulate him. He should be judged on his own merits.

Imo he will choose either Madrid or Liverpool and Madrid is a club that has the best up and coming squad around and any manager who can get them players to pull together could dominate club football for the next 10 years . As a Liverpool fan i would love Alonso to try his hand at managing at a club we all know he clearly loves and understands and has said so himself multiple times. However its quite simple for me if he wants the easy life he will become the new Bayern coach if he wants a challenge then it will likely be Liverpool assuming they approach him or he might go in a different direction.

It may be smarter to choose Bayern at present. Following Klopp is going to be a near impossible job, especially if they win PL/EL. Meanwhile, Bayern are coming from a situation where any improvement will be seen as great work after the poor season they have had. He wins a title at Bayern and his stock remains really high but if he can't follow in Klopp's footsteps he may be seen as 'not worthy' It is a difficult call.

I think Bayern Munich is a Toxic Club, many great Manager had Problems at Munich.the big surprise was Hansi Flick who was seen as a intermediate Manager and makes the Triple that Nobody expected from him. There is a great Bayern Munich dislike in Dortmund and you Klopp lived that dislike Like he lived the rivalery between Man United and Liverpool

Tuchel is no elite manager anyway, only Pep helping him in the final got him the champions league. As for Alonso, IF he did go Munich the only way he'd be judged a success is to win the champions league, which is a stretch against Real, City and dare I say other prem teams qualifying.. Alonso should go Liverpool, win something there and then he'd Trott to Madrid in say 3/4 years time.

If Xabi gets asked to Manager Liverpool Football Club, I would be amazed if he turned it down. The reason is you can never presume in Football that you get another opportunity. I would actually be amazed more ,than the news Jurgen is leaving. Xabi will be walking into Liverpool in a good state for him to try and make even better. He will have great players to manage. He has to jump at the chance and of course every LFC supporter will be right behind him.

Xabi has been talking about managing Liverpool one day since (iirc) 2018. If you really think that he's now going to pass up that chance (assuming it's offered) and instead choose to stay with Leverkusen and watch Bayern or the like snap up his best players at the end of the season, then I fear that you will be disappointed.

He’ll prob go to Liverpool but if not he’ll be staying where he is. Don’t see why he’d leave leverkusen to go to the team they are beating where he’ll need to rebuild. He could have already won bundesliga and then would be in UCL anyway. Makes no sense. Liverpool much more logical choice

I would love for us to appoint Xabi, HOWEVER Danny is talking rubbish, Xabi will either stay 1 more season and wait for Real Madrid or he will go to Bayern. If we go in for him we will lose out 😏
