Coming back and watching this, what I like best is the dialogue from the two. The writers really made it feel like you're watching a crossover episode rather than a Death Battle. Like you could actually hear Danny making puns like this if he ever met Jake.

This battle was a real treat. I'm so glad I saw my character DANNY PHANTOM in an animation like this. Thank you to the Death Battle Team for putting this together.

Good news guys. Disney+ FINALLY has American Dragon

Not gonna lie, as a kid, American Dragon: Jake Long was kinda my soap.

So nice to see characters with power that isn't completely silly. No one that can fly across the universe in seconds. Good episode

Honestly, Danny being mistaken for some kinda criminal is just that extra layer of accuracy that probably wasn't even intended

So I haven't watched this episode in awhile, and I JUST NOTICED this time around at 12:33 that one of the Dannys actually moves out of the way of Jake's incoming attack (the one on the left), avoiding getting incinerated. The more you learn from rewatching!

Y’know it took me this long to realize “Time’s up pal” is referring to how Danny was counting as a response to Jake’s 3 second threat at the beginning.

To be honest, the fact that they were brawling in an Egyptian museum at first made me think that Jake’s weakness to Sphinx hair would be a factor.

This was THE most cleanest and kid friendly fight i ever seen on this channel.

The battle itself really feels like a Danny Phantom episode and I love it!

I love how they do these scenarios to make the characters start fighting, especially if it’s easy to avoid: Jake: Planning on stealing something else? Danny: Actually I was just putting it back. Jake:Were you now?(suspicious) Danny: Dude I literally just put it the skull back in. Can I just go, it’s a school night. Jake: Oh shoot your right!

I like this battle because of how grounded it weirdly is. It's fucked up because it's by no means "realistic", but it's far less OP then most matches.

Hey Butch Hartman I’m glad you liked the episode and I really hope you’ll bring the Danny Phantom series back one day soon because I love the show and I know for a fact that a lot of people miss it and want to see it get a fourth season

Jake may have had the firepower, but Danny had more spirit.

I think another big advantage Danny had is his attitude, although Danny is the same age as him and does still have quite a bit of it himself Jake always seemed far more immature than Danny and thus was a lot more susceptible to letting his arrogance go to his head
