WHY DO I CALL MY FANS GREG?
Greg is the strongest family on the internet, we're the fastest growing channel on KZfaq, and we make fire content. So, instead of making up some pun using my name and calling my fans that, I decided to use a different name entirely. A name so strong, haters tremble when it is spoken. WE ARE GREG. AND WE ARE TAKING OVER THE INTERNET. And all you have to do to join is hit subscribe and turn on notifications.

The oldest known mattress in history dates back to 77,000 years ago, and was found in the Sibudu Cave in KwaZulu-Natal in Africa. I just love how completely wrong it is....prehistoric, and pre-agricultural human diet was primarily starchy roots. Yes they ate meat, but not every day. Most fruits that we have today did not exist back then, they were spread globally (meaning they would be inaccessible) and are seasonal, often only being able to be found for a week or two for each species. Conversely, root vegetables are abundant across the globe in many forms in each region. A big starchy root is a very successful evolutionary adaptation. So they are abundant, calorically and nutritionally significant, and accessible year round. Eat your veggies kids, and don't take the naughty sauce.

@@voluntaryismistheanswer carbon is in all living matter (both plant and animal), so carbon dating wouldn't be a problem when archeologist come across ancient preserved veggies and fruits. But there's plenty of evidence that indicate ancient humans ate plants, just like meat. Usually the remains of these plants are found buried in baskets or preserved in the mud of archeological dig sites. Not to mention, agriculture itself is an amazing testament to relationship between plants and humans! Wild corn looks completely different to your standard domesticated corn for example.

Because his knowledge of "our ancestors" apparently amounts to what he saw from Flintstones cartoons. He also, conveniently, ignores the fact that there's a reason that cultures around the world have feasts/traditions that center around eating an animal, like Thanksgiving. It's because being able to eat a substantial amount of meat had always been a special occasion, during our hunter-gatherer phase as a species. The only real exceptions would be, maybe, peoples that had easy access to abundant fish/seafood.

For those unfamiliar with fitness and nutrition: 1. The man is 100% guaranteed on steroids (which wouldnt be a problem if he'd be open about it instead of attesting his physique purely to his insane diets, lifestyle and most importantly obsolete, overpriced supplements etc) 2. In contrast to what he claims, consuming large amounts of liver can be a major health risk, particularly Hypervitaminosis A comes to mind 3. This should go without saying but consuming raw animal parts is also a large risk and will eventually give you parasites and food poisoning, the reason something like beef tartar can be consumed raw is because in the case of beef, most pathogens are found on the outer layer of the meat due to contaminations in the slaughterhouse (this is also why you shouldnt eat burger patties rare) I think his content is great to make fun of but its scary to think that someone might believe his horrible advice.

Romans and Greeks frequently chose to sleep on hard surfaces such as wooden planks. Marcus Aurelius, the Roman Philosopher Emperor, even mentions it briefly in, “Meditations,” and how he is thankful for being encouraged to sleep that way.

As a medical student, the part about dropping the antihistamines and epipen and substituting it with an “organic diet” for his children was so fucking infuriating, its so irresponsible to put your kids at a high risk of LITERALLY DYING of anaphylaxis just because you believe in a specific lifestyle wtf

I took it to mean the children were allergic to certain preservatives or chemicals in highly processed foods and Mr. Liver King thought that they should avoid the allergens altogether instead of taking extra medications and stuff. I could be wrong tho I am just giving him the benefit of the doubt lol. @@christianzombievampire I mean if that’s the case then cool but most child allergies are against nuts and shellfish and he didn’t like specify which allergies exactly his kids had, so essentially he is just marketing this diet as if it “cures” allergies, which I’m afraid that like you said could come across to other parents as a suggestion. I am all against preservatives and processed foods and all for living life like our ancestors did without any chicken nuggets (which is kind of sad tbh) but medication for fatal conditions is just a red line that no diet should cross, in my opinion.
