What’s amazing is how in control they were from start to finish. They didn’t have to play in any elimination games, never got behind in a series for too long. Some of those games were just cruise control lol. Great size, speed, precision, and grit. Amazing run

The Amadio Game 3 OT goal against Winnipeg turned the tide. They had just blown a 3 goal lead and could have lost that to go down 2-1 in the series. Instead, Amadio takes a spinning clapper on a rolling puck and Vegas doesn’t look back.

As a Nevada native, the Golden Knights absolutely deserved the prize this year and the Florida Panthers deserved to play for it as well. I predicted that the Knights would win the Stanley Cup within their first ten years of existence and they did.

I never was a huge sports spectator. played different sports and loved em. But being from vegas meant we never had a pro team, so i never was a huge fan of any particular team. Until VGK came along.... Now I finally understand what it feels like to have a team and be a diehard fan. And it's made me love hockey even more. I appreciate this sport and these athletes even more when before it was like MEH. Lol. Go knights!!!

Rewatching this in February 2024, and this just sent me into a stratosphere of emotions watching all these goals again. From going 1-1 in attending the 2 home games vs Winnipeg, then losing my mind when Michael Amadio scored the game winner in game 3 of that series at a watch party, then celebrating games 4-5 and clinching the opening series… to undertaking the highs & lows of the INCREDIBLE series vs Edmonton that had me crying after Karlsson potted the empty netter in game 6, to the euphoric celebrations I had in the 2 OT wins to open the WCF, to the nerves I felt after games 4-5 were losses, and then the joy I felt watching the VGK win the west, and the realization that the VGK were going to the Stanley Cup Final… Then, the Stanley Cup Final came, the massive watch party I attended in Henderson with my family & reuniting with a lot of friends out there, and witnessing the game 1 win that officially tied year 1, and feeling an unbelievable amount of confidence in believing the VGK could pull this off!! Then, game 2… the emotions I began to feel in knowing Vegas was so close!! Game 3 sucked in seeing Florida pull that one out at the last moment, but we knew we just needed 1 out there, and we’d be in great shape! Game 4, Vegas took the early 3-0 lead, I began feeling butterflies, but when that was cut to 3-2, I had to go for a walk!! I couldn’t watch, my heart was in my throat, I was sweaty, and just in full on prayer mode! I get back, and saw Vegas won… one more game was left to win. Just 1 more win, and Vegas would be champions… and they had 3 chances to do it… 2 of them at home… BRING. IT. HOME!!! Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, I gather a crew of my closest friends, we take the bus to the Toshiba Plaza outside T-Mobile Arena, and the vibes were incredible… it felt like something was truly about to happen… then the game started, and Vegas just scored… and scored… and scored… and scored… each goal causing that Plaza to **ROAR** with noise, and after 2 periods, up 6-1, I was full-blown crying tears of joy!! Late in the 3rd, I pulled my camera out… and the celebration began!! The city was absolute madness that night, from the incredible celebration in Toshiba Plaza, to all the LED boards around Vegas & Henderson displaying a graphic celebrating the Stanley Cup win, and then grabbing victory drinks with my friends, and partied the rest of the night… it was… fucking… amazing. It was, TRULY, the most amazing playoff run I’ve ever experienced, and the memories that were made along the way will last forever! The sight of those dudes raising that cup are etched into the fabric of Vegas now, and Vegas, is a city of champions! People outside of Vegas will never understand what that Stanley Cup win meant to this city, what it meant to officially forge our mark as a championship city in pro-sports, and to have our homegrown VGK, be the one to do it… that team is our lifeblood… they mean EVERYTHING to us… and they were the best fucking hockey team in the world in 2023… pure. fucking. poetry!

Did anybody not notice how the first round against the Jets played out exactly the same as the 2018 West Final? Winnipeg won the first game, then Vegas won the next four.

As a Knights fan, that is great sportsmanship. The Panthers did so good. They were better than all the other teams. They came back from the Boston Bruins 3-1 in the series and the Bruins were most likely to win the cup. I know it is hard to see you’re team come all this way and lose but the Panthers are a great team.

No words to convey the excitement and pride with this team. 🥲🏆⚡️Anyone who doubted us must've not been paying attention to our greatness.

What our boys did this season was nothing was breathtaking. We only were missing part, Eichel, Hill, and Bruce Cassidy. I believe that every team VGK faced in the playoffs, we systematically dismantled them and from that point, our opponents knew, VGK was going to steamroll every opponent like we did in 2018, and this time, VGK put everyteam and every player/fan who doubted them on notice. 2023 the west belongs to Vegas, and we have the most important championship ever, and what has alluded the original 6 for 5 long years, The Stanley Cup. We also put ESPN and TNT on notice as well. And of course that wasn't enough, we ended up completely making an ass of PK SUBBAN
