On the dance floor (luv dancing) under the influence of drugs and alcohol. I heard the voice of God say “Now it’s time to go home and get ready for church tomorrow.” I froze in my steps hearing what I heard, walked back to the table, put my drink down and announced I was leaving to go home to get ready for church. I repeated to my friends what the Voice of God said to me. My friends laughed and they mocked the Voice of God. Went home tried to read the Bible and couldn’t understand what I was reading. Got up the next morning went to a store front Apostolic/Pentecostal church. Heard the Word of God and Spirit of God moved upon me an experience I’ve never felt before. I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior, was baptized that day. If the Voice of God can speak through a donkey, (Numbers 22:21) He can surely speak to a rank sinner like me. Yesterday was my little cousin's wife's Memorial. I had been guiding my cousin back to God's graces. It was the very first time since pandemic 3 years the entire east coast family reunited. I saw blessings through my younger nieces and nephews. Carrying grief for their younger cousins. When prayer started I walked over to the new Widower my Brother Cuz. I held his arm and moved closer to his shaky hands. We watched a slideshow and smiled over his wife's blessed life. A few days before I texted him our first prayer together. I am anointed with God's Love and all of our ancestors voices. I have always known my assignment. Keep our huge family loving on God when everything changes. I see myself in a different way not making wrong choices anymore. They barely used God throughout the memorial, so I said my quiet prayers throughout the afternoon. Each of my Mother's Sisters were finally under the same roof. God heard mine and my Mom's prayers but what was so weird she decided to ignore me the entire weekend. It's her coping mechanism since my sister's murder and Dad's death. I moved home when he passed in 2010. I am at a new crossroads again. I have lived out my Dad's wishes and overstayed showing up for my Mom. She has forgotten how to show up for her immediate family I know her heart and soul. I felt very lonely at the gathering yesterday. Receiving hugs from all relatives but my own Mother. And everyone loves her, so I kept this stress to myself. My eldest sister has ghosted me back in July. She never once checked on me knowing how much I loved my cousin's wife. I left early and cried for several hours listening to Pastor Lisa Harper and The Furticks. My closest friend went out of his way to meet me at our new music venue. We are also healing fro the loss of our chosen family our Big Brother. Music filled our hearts and we found love and kindness together. That's what true Angels on Earth do for us. Each sad lesson comes a better one a greater one by God's graces and GIFTS. This is my new healing song! I surrender it all because I have seen your miracles yesterday even though I wished for my Mother's hugs and compassion. She just doesn't have much bandwidth for me but I already fully understand my wheelhouse. I know death and dying more than I do living. I turn to Jesus for wisdom and patience. Understanding. I am a role model to my younger relatives and so I am a perfectionist. I see the light from people and their darkest hour. The problem I have is asking for true support and friendship. At age 50 I am listening more to your words. This modern world needs light and no matter what I will shine. Thank you for reading and please remember God has a plan for you. Everyone seems to be dropping their stories and how they felt while listening to this song so i thought, why not. Ive been a runaway daughter. Not literally but spiritually.
