You know, as someone who is British, what impresses me about this, apart from the beautiful voice, is the perfect cadence and total lack of any accent. It cant be easy to get your pronunciation word perfect that way. Its not only a musical performance, its also a huge effort in acting expression, and flawless English pronunciation. I can only imagine how much perfectionism and attention to detail and inflection went into this. This gentleman gets more impressive the more I hear him. A real triple threat :)

I have heard this song done by at least 16+ singers and there is no one that can make me tear up when the high note is sung except Dan Vasc. I really think Dan could give the “Phantoms” of the worlds stages a run for their money vocally! Really the best I’ve heard in a long time. In recent times Ramin has been the bomb as Phantom, but bet Dan could out vocal Ramin anytime! Ramin may have experience of stage, but as for pure vocal ability I think Dan would win hands down.

I still haven't retrieved my extended version DVD of the movie starring Gerrard Butler, who even my 90 yr old Gma was swooning over in a viewing that included Gma, my Mom, 2of my Sister's, Me&my teen daughter, of which I was only one who saw Michael Crawford do in AZ as she was a baby&I was only 1 who lived out there@the time; I was impressed&didn't want to see movie in case badly done& ruin live performance! Well, it certainly knocked live to 'boy that was nice! ',as Gerrard Butler &his young innocent lovely both were MAGNIFICENT, &we ended up buying 2copies,as second 1 had the scenes deleted which included a solo by Phantom right after he witnessed his lovely&man she loved singing on rooftop&he was💔,&the song is beautiful❣️I couldn't understand why they wouldn't include in movie but Hubby said it would've caused too much empathy for Phantom opposed to seeing him as threat... I just looked at him dumbfounded, as though he hadn't been there we did go together the following week& I was like were you in the same theatre as me, as every woman in there was as much enthralled with him as his confused innocent was aka he had us in tears for him&was gorgeous to boot... It probably would've caused swooning throughout,not just my family. I WOULD love to hear you do it... I have to find title... Oh I may be able to Google it... depending on internet's cooperation! I also love duet of"All I Ask of You"; your voices are so very great together❣️The only thing I had hard time with was his lovely was a very fresh innocent& helped define the whole musical &sadly to me anyway, Alina's beauty is not that of an innocent, especially in that time period;striking&boldly gorgeous wasn't connecting her innocent confusion he dominated her with, but as a vocal it was dramatic&beautifully done. I can't recall the young lady in the movie, but she had a glorious vocal ability&I hope she's gone on to be brilliant on stage to share her talent with opera lovers or other genres as she deserves ❣️But back to you, I've seen many of your videos since I found&YOU never disappoint; confound me with your hard work that goes into each video that makes your fans think "Aww.....
