While most actors stop getting Botox before a role, I also think they need to keep other procedures to the minimum as well. Some actors out there … I can’t watch them anymore. Their faces are just too much. We blame society for wanting us to look young, but the movie world isn’t helping, is it?

Face yoga and other facial exercises are anti-aging. Ppl should start youngish and do them weekly, and it doesn't cost a thing. 10 minutes three times a week is all it takes for those under 40 and those over 40 would just have to do it once a day. I had a wisdom tooth removal that left me with no sense for weeks on the right lower side of my jaw. No matter how much would botox make me look better, or skin more smooth. I also feel like I would go crazy once my facial muscles would feel frozen. I had a boss, she is 10 years younger than me and has been putting botox on her face since her early 30ties. When she is smiling she is squinting in such a weird way. You can tell that something is wrong. Also I always looked younger for some reason.

Some overdo it in a shocking way, like the Kardashians with their halloween like masks instead of faces and this dead "expression" in their eyes. I don't get it why people wanna look as if they had a stroke and ended up paralized. If it's done well you still can move your face and won't look weird, just a bit fresher, like you sleep very well and enjoy your life. I told the doctor that I want the kids at school to see it when I start getting annoyed with them. And although my frown lines are nearly gone, you will notice if I'm even a little bit angry. And apart from that I think it's a good biofeedback when the face tells the brain "we are not that angry". Well with the crowfeet I take even less, also to avoid the biofeedback "we are not really laughing". I also want wrinkles when I smile, just less deep crow feet when I don't smile. There is a big grey zone where people just say "she aged so well, what a natural beauty and such a positive expression, you can tell she is a happy, relaxed person" 😂 that's what people say to me a lot, I'm not really using Make-up. But I always tell them it's a mix of good genes and good investment or just say "thank you, it was quite expensive"
@Mzd455

@@evastern231 I love the fact that kids could still figure out if you are mad and that you actually look well rested! I do have some under eye crow feet but they don’t look bad all the time, sometimes it’s allergies and watery eyes and I still don’t think Botox would help. I feel like it could maybe cause more issues as my eyes are so sensitive. And my eye lids get swollen for no reason at all!

Muscle atrophy and lack of muscle memory is down the line. But it's OK, because after creating the problem, cosmetic companies will invent some for of facial scaffolding to hold the face together after all the damage. This will come at a cost, probably at a time when the people who are abusing botox now, have 3 kids, a mortgage and a ton of bills so can't afford the new experimental or temporary procedure they need to fix the damage or at least cover up the damage caused by botox. People best hope wearing masks permanently becomes a thing, because there may be a few scary looking people around.

@user-vi2pf4zo6z
@user-vi2pf4zo6z Ай бұрын
@@lucianaromulus1408 Yes, there is a study that closely aligns with your description. However you are incorrect in the fact that this was due to botox etc. This study compared two identical female twins, where one twin received regular Botox treatments and the other did not. The twin who received Botox lived in Los Angeles, California, and had consistent wrinkle-relaxing injections for 19 years. The other twin lived in Munich, Germany, and had only sporadic treatments over the same period. The study found significant differences in their skin aging, with the twin who received regular treatments showing fewer wrinkles, smoother skin, and a more even skin tone… HOWEVER 👇 Additionally, the study highlighted the impact of environmental factors like sun exposure on skin aging. The twin who spent more time in the sun showed more signs of aging, such as deeper wrinkles and more skin spots, compared to the twin who had limited sun exposure and took measures to protect her skin from the sun. Therefore, the study did not account for the significant lifestyle differences between the twins, including their levels of sun exposure, which can greatly influence skin aging and the study's results.

My spasm only really affects the corner of my mouth and because my muscles are constantly spasming and contracting, it has created a deep nasolabial fold wrinkle on the left side of my face, but the right side of my face is unaffected. After having had a life time of TIA's, I can safely say there's never been a reason to put toxic muscle killers into my body. If people can't enjoy what God created (and I must say Perfectly) then they can deal with the repercussions they receive when we meet our Maker. Be ready God knows the inward person the body it inhabits is only a shell. When we as believers die we get a glorified body, what ever you sow that is what you will reap. I have a really bad teeth grinding problem and after my dentist told me how messed up my teeth on the right side got from grinding I decided to try masseter Botox. and that’s the only thing that helped. Remember folks, Botox isn’t just gas pedal to the floor. I was so against it but I frown a lot and furrow my brows. Lines are gone and I can still move my brows and furrow them… just not as well. I got Botox today in my DAO areas because I always look like I’m frowning, everyone says I look sad. But I have very strong DAO muscles that pull my mouth down. People use too much and we all see the extremes, but there’s people like me who people wouldn’t even know. My spouse never noticed, only my sister did because she asked my skin care routine. Stop with the thinking it freezes your face! Go conservative if you’re curious about it.

Facial expressions are so very important for our relationships. People who are altering their faces and thereby messing with their expressions have absolutely no idea, because no one makes genuine expressive reactions in response to others while looking in a mirror. They only see in the mirror that the wrinkle is filled, the skin is lifted or plumped, and they feel happy. But it’s these genuine facial expressions we give to others that allow real emotional connection. They *think* they are making these expressions but sadly they aren’t. Their faces are not matching their emotions and words, causing relational confusion and disconnect in the other person. I see this happen sometimes with grandmothers and their grand babies. The grandmothers who have had a lot of work done are often saying “I don’t know why my grand baby doesn’t like me/let me hold her/cries when I talk to her”.

@DrBitaFarrell could you tell us in all the areas you in jected how many units, or however Botox is measured, you used? What would the average cost be to do the entire face in the areas you did? I love the fact that it lifted around the mouth/marionette lines. I've seen some doctors say it wont help. It clearly helped you. Thats why i would love it if you could point out the areas you injected and how much it took. Also, if someone wanted to do those areas plus the forehead (mostly elevens and a couple faint wrinkles) how many units and average cost. I realize you can't give me an exact cost without examining me and also my providers may charge less or more. I'm just trying to get the idea of whether or not I could afford a full face. Last question and I will quit adding 😊. Is there anything Botox can do for saggy jowl or neck? Thank you again for any answers you may give. Thank you! Love your videos!

Aging is an honour and not everyone gets to grow old. We as women, especially need to lean into and embrace the natural process of aging. There is so much wisdom and grace in being here on this planet for many years and if we just look after ourselves with as good food as possible, meditation, breath work and Yoga we don’t need to inject anything foreign into our bodies. And facial expressions and lines are how we are supposed to look!!!
