Ahh yeah, launch and the following days after is going to be crazy! You should check out launch day just because its going to be unlike anything we ever seen before! SB is one of my favorite classes, good choice :D

You can level in the battlegrounds by killing other players. It will be packed the first month, I wouldn’t wait!

It's still in beta, so things can change. However, Dragon and Epic dungeon raids will always be a big boost to currency, try to always attend these. They mentioned sobekite wont be time efficient for the average player, most likely only the top PvE players with specific comps will be able to slightly pull ahead of average farming. I'd assume the best way to farm currency for the average player is going to be in a full group doing the mini bosses, or farming zone like DF. You can also get Bounty Points through RvR. And salvaging is always good for a little extra.

There will be an item database eventually. The easiest way is go to the discord, go to your class section, and ask what the template is. People have already figured out best template for some classes.

Thanks for the feedback! Tanks are great, they just take a lil bit to get going. And Necros seem to be in a nice spot on this server, I think you will really enjoy them since you are experienced with them! The rambling is great, I look forward to it! Launch will be wild indeed, hopefully the tide carries for a few days too.

@@mmodojo Absolutely I agree for the Tanks part for sure. It takes awhile and are mainly good for end game content when they have everything. Against casters it's almost free Rp when everything is up including Fury to improve magic resist more. Necro is one of the hardest classes in the game IMHO. There are so many classes and specs for DAOC, but in this server Necros are better than even back in the day because pet quick cast can be used ANYTIME and not having to wait on the pets next swing, and the shade taps go off right when they land, and not having to wait for the pet to swing. Plus, the pet is level 45 instead of 44, making his resists against targets and or absorb to melee and magic damage much better. Plus, all the pets are level 45 so it is a matter of picking what you want. Most go with the Zombie Servant to be immune to mez and root.... Don't do it. Go Greater Necroservant or Abomination as insane as this may sound :) Maybe I may make a video about the Necro if I'm bored lol haha :)

Update on the Greater Necroservant in which I'm scared about. So far, being level 41 The pet is not doing DoTs, Disease, or Critical Strike Styles like Garrote for the Snare. I wonder if Eden has taken it out, if so then maybe Abomination with Con debuff and -250AF Debuff for frontload or literally the Default, Lesser Zombie for Immunity to Mez or Root with a chance for a 2 Second stun but once I am 50, I'm going to test all pets and somehow report on Eden's forum board or make a video about it lol.

Yeah I think wizards are a great class. Amazing for zerg surfing, and minstrels are great in small man groups so I think you will do good there too!

Earth Wizard is really Scary. It's Albion's version of a Cave Shaman from Mid but without the Chain Mail, but they get Nearsight which ALSO lowers Matter Resist by 15%. Absolutely insane!

If I were to play a solo/small man class I would play Skald or Thane on mid, minstrel or friar for alb, and Valewalker or any caster on hib. Stealthers are fun too, but a little later and not at launch imo.

At the time I made this list they did not have it. Zerkers get charge though.

I Wish Savages got Charge but it would break Zerkers in a lot of ways but.... I'm not going to lie, I wish Savages had Charge haha! It's so Good, until then it's a makeshift "Charge Vendo Banespike". TOA Banespike isn't in the game, but the Berserk ability has been changed to up damage by 15%-20% as well as a Crit on every hit but I'm unsure if the Crits are 50% of the damage you do or 100%.

I'm going to assume you watched the entire video and understand the niche settings for the tier list. The difference between SSS and S is the smallest, and I spent a lot of time considering If they should be swapped. You probably could merge them into one tier as well. AoE DoTs and Bolts will be king during the BG launch rush. Reason I put bolts ahead is because anyone can throw bolts, get a kill and repeat on Cooldown. While AoE DoTs will have to go into the 1500 cast range which will be bombarded with return fire, so getting killed before landing your DoT goes off is a possibility. Casters get both bolts before turning 5, while mentalist gets their first AoE DoT at lvl 17. This is all prediction and subjective, and by nature no tier list is agreed on by everyone. However, I put a lot of time and effort into these video guides and explain my reasoning. You are dismissing it as a meme because you disagree with one class placement and providing no reasoning. It seems like you are the one not being serious. Thanks for the feedback though, cheers!

@@mmodojo if you only look at the effectivity in bg's you could be right, yet i assume one rushes at launch to have a usefull class at 50 aswell, and if thats the case and dont put ment top then i rly dk, ima not go into details why ment(assuming you as a Dojo might know aswell), bcus whats this server really does not need is more hibb players.

@@ohnoohnonono3458 Yup, effectiveness in the bgs was the major point. Usefulness at 50 was a minor, as it starts to get into the established meta tier list, which I did not want to touch in this video. I agree with you mentalist will be a top tier class once the meta is established. I actually wanted to play one, but when I saw 64 out of the top 100 were hibs on the herald I decided it would be best to roll mid or alb! I like a challenge and being the underdog :D And thanks for going into more detail on your reply.

Mentalist is an RP Farmer due to AoE dots and of course that Heal Over Time, Base line stun and more (Mez!!!). Case and point Trixi is the top RP Holder in Daoc Eden as of this post due to this, and yes... Trixi is..... a Mentalist! I heard though by rumor Trixi isn't really good skill wise, but I don't know if it's people being Salty or reality haha.
