Go away when they do not want to live here while a lot of people from hellish places flock to Canada to live. This country does not lack prospective immigrants.
Not really due to snwing issues. There is no IT opportunities in Canada. The well known IT corps like MS, Oracle, etc., IT dept in large corps like Amazon, etc.. Most the careers are transferred from their HQ from US. Even I know some of them are Canadian who went to US to join those large corp then transfer back to Canada.

@@BigJokeMortgageBank Yes, I know this happened around half year already. What my replied was about the IT career market in Canada in general, not particularly when.

Like other western societies, Canada has "evolved" into a self destructive binge. It will be interesting to see if it can turn back from the precipice of degeneracy, and whether what havocs any corrections in the course of development may cause.
The medical system in Canada is in a crisis. It takes 14 months to see a GI specialist. it takes 1.5 years for a hernia surgery !!! Certainly, high housing price is the KEY factor.
Singapore and Malaysia is the best choice for Canadian Chinese.. Food and language is not a problem as almost everyone can speak English and Mandarin..

Malaysian myself and just left Canada after spending 6 years there. The level of happiness is insanely different.. 6 months of winter, expensive gas, high tax and tips, crazy grocery prices, deteriorating healthcare standards, huge influx of immigrants, increasing crime rates… way more than enough to justify why leave Canada.

It's true that Canada is not for everyone but isn't it the same deal for other countries ? I have to agree to some of the opinions as you expressed if not all of them. My experience of living in Canada for so many years as an immigrant, I believe what you are determines how you live in Canada. Canada has been changing for the worst in the passed many years, that I have to agree with you.
