DAOKOちゃんがちょうどJKのときくらいに知って、かっこいい大人になったDAOKOちゃんも好きだけど、なんかちょっと寂しいなって思ってたから、これ見て同じ時間軸に全部も存在するんだぁって思えてよかった。全部存在してそんでアップデートされるんだねぇ

「ぼく」のRe-Arrangeはテンポが良いのにゆっくりしてて聴いてて心地が良いんだよね。 MVバージョンだと映像もすっごく良くって耳でも目でも楽しめる！ すごい良い作品に仕上がってるよね！

To the English listeners who are wondering what the lyrics are about: daoko's first album was Hyper Girl, released under LOW HIGH WHO? productions. She had many fans that liked her soft voice and quiet rapping. At 2:20 she says that the only reason she was able to come this far is because of her unique ("weird") music. After a few years, DAOKO slowly started to move her genre closer towards pop. An approximate turning point would probably be when she released her single ShibuyaK. A greater turning point would be Fireworks with Yonezu Kenshi. Though she made new fans through her new style, she also lost old ones. I personally preferred her old style a lot more. The song is mostly about her public image vs her self image. She's self-aware that singing pop songs isn't exactly cool, but she states "if it sells, you won't have to struggle right?" Edit: gonna highjack this comment. Guy who made the character design for this vid is actually a pretty good artist. His other works are really nice, go check him out. English name: Akane Malbeni

@@studi0robb My gateway was "The World of Kanako." At the time I was young, so my parents didn't let me watch it. I just sat in my own room while hearing background noise of gory sounds assisted by daoko's relaxing music. There was such a stark contrast between her soft voice and the sinister scene (and lyrics) that were being played out. Really glued into my mind. My mom later bought the song on iTunes, and played it on repeat. The song was so depressing, I was scared of listening to it at first, but I soon came to like it very much. lol sorry, I know you weren't expecting this kind of response.

I honestly loved her old style so much, and I was so happy to see the style coming back in some of the songs on the album Anima (in Ai no Loss and Otogi no Machi, for example) So I am happy she prefers this style as well, but yeah that doesn't exactly equate the general pop audience.

@@d4riu5 haha, naw I think she likes them. She's just self aware that making pop music isn't that "cool". It's still the way she'd like to express herself. I remember her saying in one of her interviews that she would like for a wider range people to listen to her music.

I has been follow her since she was on Nico Nico, now almost 9 years later I still listening her songs.Feels so good when you see someone becomes this big, I remember when she oppened her KZfaq channel with no more than 1k subs . I love she still has her unique style and keep the same feeling in her songs.

Lol I'm back here after a year but through an entirely different entry point. Recently I've been collecting art books and this one art book had a particularly eye-catching cover. It's called Malbeni Akane illustration works. I recognized her art style from a lot of I Love Me's album arts. I looked into her and found out she worked on this music video as well. I'm happy to say she's worked on at least two more music videos: ORESAMA - ホトハシル MV English: ORESAMA - Hotohashiru 花譜「戸惑いテレパシー（柊キライremix）」 English: Kafu - Confused Telepathy (Hiiragi Kirai remix) The romaji for the title is Tomadoi Terepashii.
