GM Nina, I hope all is well with you. Beautiful pages today!! I don't think you did anything wrong making the envelope, I think the photo in the DD just showed it with a cream letter in it. I like the new placement of it also. That was a majestic looking dog on the last page. Love to you, Louie and Toby!!

Thanks Debbie, yes it looks much better in its new place at the front of the journal. The dog really is majestic looking. A great word to describe him. Wonderful, lovely, creative spreads. Love the envelope with the little doll inside and the painty hand page. You have such a knack for putting bits together and making it cohesive. That B&W dog page next to the textured paper is such a great pairing!

These pages are absolutely gorgeous, Nina. I love them all and my favourite is the hand holding the paintbrush. I've taken a photo of it and hope to copy and print it off as I can't justify the postage on that edition that I have sadly missed. You produce some beautiful journal pages and my Sunday morning is made again, watching you create them. Many thanks. x

I have been so looking forward to you when you would do some more work in your Daphne's Diary Glue book!! Because I live in the US, Daphne's Diary is a bit hard to come by and honestly too expensive for me, BUT my BFF's daughter has been living and working in The Netherlands for a couple of years now and is coming back home for Easter and is going to bring me some copies of the magazine and the weekly planner. I am soooo excited and looking forward to having fun with them. Thanks for sharing, lovely and inspiring as always!

Loved your use of the envelope. I backed mine with velum to strengthen it and the cut outs remained clear. Wasn't sure what to do with it but now I have some ideas, thanks ❤️

I folded the lace paper in half and placed it as a pocket at the bottom, so I have a pocket on each side of the page. I make a personal journal of the Daphne's Dairy once a quarter. and that's where I picked him up. I enjoy seeing your ideas and would like to make the journal your way again.

Hi Nina , I love the decision you made with the paintbrush hand , it looks lovely. The snow drops might look nice with a green wax seal if you have one , just a thought 😊. Every now and again, however (and forgive me, I don't want to sound critical, but I do have a question) if she loves, loves, loves an image so much, why does she then cover it up? Otherwise, of course, beautiful collages, and her projects are always inspirational. Again, on the principal of those who can, do, and those who can't (or don't), criticize!🤭

@zoed83 You can purchase it for £7.50 from larger Waitrose or WH Smith stores. My local Waitrose had several copies still when I was there today. If you Google Magazine Supermarket they have it for £10.44 including delivery. Hope this helps.

In the USA in the stores it is $ 17 dollars and 25 cents . I buy 2 of them. It is case I want to use 2 sides. I do it because it gets my mind off my hurting. I accidentally broke my femur bone in my right thigh. I had to have 2 operations. So it is worth it to me 😊😊😊😊😊
