I have Rahu/Ketu as DK according to this philosophy and sun as traditional planetary DK. My spouse exhibits both Rahu/Ketu and Solar traits. He is very invested in the occult and also his success and leadership qualities (my natal sun is in Ashwini, as is his, just different padas). He is obsessed with all things taboo and mystical and really wants to create books and a school around his research and theories. His DK is Saturn (aka I’m the “serious” one) so I try to tone down the Rahu/ego aspect of it for him a lot which creates a lot of tension but his DK and my natal sun are both in our ninth houses, respectively, and so we have a very “iron sharpens iron” marriage, where we constantly challenge each other’s spiritual evolution and insights. Thank you for the information in this video. According to my experience, it is very spot-on.

@@Kingsdaughter10.4 well very interesting...where ever Saturn sits, it will tend to make the person a lot more focused on the things of that House specification...so yes with Saturn in the 9th house will make the person constantly thinking about their religious views, their fathers teachings, constantly researching and searching for insightful knowledge, high education goals, writing, in an interest in the written law as well... wherever Saturn sits it will tend to give the person life lessons and problems to solve regarding that house...which later makes that person a master of that House specification....and Rahu (is the illusions, the smoke..) and so as wife you may see some of his theories as non real or fiction based but he is able to then clarify his perspective in pragmatic/logical terms for you to see outside the smoke(Rahu)...with that said where is your Saturn placed?

Very interesting analysis on venus darakaraka, especially how the concept of balance with pleasure was explained! I've heard other analysis that focuses on high expectations on partner's physical looks - and its never resonated with me. This analysis has gone a step beyond the generic view on the planet and I feel it matches exactly what I'm looking for in a partner - someone who can appreciate the beuaty and romance of life and enjoy pleasure in a balanced way. So my sapiophilia and my need for an intelligent, curious, playful, humorous, good listener is caused by my mercury darakaraka, that’s makes perfect sense! And that interpretation is completed by the secondary significance of the Sun plus rahu darakaraka analyses because they are conjunct my mercury darakaraka. I'm also an Aquarius ascendant and Jupiter is also my darakarka... but if I put Rahu and Ketu into the equation, then they're my real darakarka. And the funny thing is that my Ketu is in Pisces and my Rahu is in Virgo and both my Jupiter and Mercury are in Sagittarius in 11th house! My Jupiter is in pisces 9th house conjunct ketu. I definitely only walk my wisdom. I like to say that there is two types of wisdom. There is head wisdom and there is heart wisdom. Head wisdom is where you can understand the problems and suggest advice from your head. Typically it works most of the time. Heart wisdom is where you know the problem and walk your truth and live by what you know through your heart and have the other person decide if it is true wisdom or not. Whatever they choose, it doesn’t matter.

Thank you for including Rahu as the darakaraka position. As a Rahu 0.35 Capricorn, I definitely resonate with this as well as my 2.23 Mercury in Pisces. I believe I need both planets to be satisfied for a successful relationship but in looking back at my past relationships, they have all been with foreigners who left their home countries due to political or familial persecution.

Usually if rahu is in last degrees of sign like 29° or 28° , it is considered Darakaraka, as rahu enters a new sign at 29°(being retro). Check in jagannath hora software.

This is so crazy Like recently I have come to a conclusion that even if a guy is wealthy, he can't satisfy me. And I decided to go for someone who is emotional and felt I would deal with mood swings of them. That is I realised that I want emotional connection and it's really important for me. My DK is sun in Uttara Phalg conjucts Mercury and Saturn and my husband is just all that which makes him a terrific lawyer. But unfortunately he treats everything like a battle including petty domestic issues.. Whereas my husband’s DK is also sun, exalted in Ashwini but in tight conjunction with Ketu and Mercury and I wonder what it says about his wife 😅. Eclipsed confidence? 😂 Btw, I am a yoga teacher, a writer and an entrepreneur.

Sun is not my Darakaraka, but I have strong Sun in my chart. I have Swati Sun, and Krittika nak(ran by sun) Hasta nak in Sun. The type of partner that you describe is exactly what I am attracted to. Low self esteem, clingers, or indecisive people, are not my type. 😉🔥

Sun isn't good in Libra and Swati who is ruled by Rahu is the enemy of sun, so it's actually not strong, unless maybe your rahu is good. Actually that will represent low self esteem and clingy people. So if it's not your darakaraka, it's something else, that's why you're saying you dislike these qualities because they represent whatever karaka that person is. Sun is debilitated in Libra obviously.

✨I have Rahu DK if you use them, otherwise it's Saturn. I resonate with both. I am attracted to foreign people. And men tend to be secretive for me, which sucks but a theme for sure. They aren't particularly odd, in fact more traditional in some ways, but have lead interesting lives for sure, with a few battles in there. The best way to say it is they are not wholesome, but present as such.

My darakaraka is the Sun: 6:42 I have libra rising. I have Sun in Pisces, Purva Bhadrapada Nakshatra, Pada 4. In bhava chalit Sun is in the 5th houses. In the D1 chart Sun is in the 6th house. Jupiter is in conjunction with Mars in Taurus, Krittika Nakshatra, Pada 4. My atmakaraka is Venus. Venus is in Aquarius, Purva Bhadrapada Nakshatra, Pada 2 in the 5th house. So, darakaraka and atmakaraka are conjunct. I am a female. My self-esteem is low...I really looking for a self-confident man.

I have a query. I have a similar placement like yours. Scorpio ascendant with moon n rahu in 1st & ketu in 7th house in Taurus sign. Is ketu a bad placement. In case of any contrary view, please guide. Usually in India, this placement is said to be awful for any relationship. However, your reading has given me a hope to try for marriage. Yeah this is difficult. I only recently found out you should include Rahu as karakas. Prior to that, I thought Venus was my darakaraka at 4° Libra in my 7th house. Then once I found out you could use Rahu, I realised he was my Karaka at 29° Pisces (because of retro motion). Now you’re telling me it’s likely ketu, at 29° Virgo, as it’s in my 7th house only 5° away from Venus? Is that correct? 😅😅😅

My Rahu is in 7th house, ruler of 7th house is 10th house in Aquarius in Satabisha nakshatra. Just met someone who has Rahu in 10th house in Aquarius in Satabisha..We also have Taurus in Krittika as ascendant. My sun darakaraka is with venus, and the guy has a beautiful appearance and 6 years older. I read somewhere that when Sun is darakaraka, spouse will be older by 5 to 6 years. Could he be the one ?

I understand what you said about venus DK...but my brother has DK venus and he's divorced 3x... he is in love as long as his ladies stay beautiful. He seems to be attracted to ladies whom stick out from the crowd. But fell out of with first wife cuz she gained weight and no longer model looking - 2nd wife he left cuz she fell sick and her looks didn't remain the same ., 3rd wife he left cuz he said she started to age faster and look too old for his liking .. honestly, im disgusted.. my brother and I love him but disgusted by his character

Moon in scorpio means if it's debilitated then it indicates the person recognised their family's problem from very early childhood consciously or unconsciously. Awareness can be a gift or curse too. They loved their troubled parents but couldn't cope with their parents behaviour while growing up.

Mercury is my darakaraka , and my atmakaraka is Saturn, which for a female I find it to be terrible for finding a partner. . I don’t see that as a good match. I have been through many challenging experiences and Mercury minded people come across as dismissive to me with my thoughts and emotions. They also think that I come across as too serious. I’m a Libra Ascendant... can I trade in my atmakaraka and darakaraka for something else? 😂😉

Darakarak mercury in 12th house Sagittarius ascendant . Any tips ?absolutely correct on the verbal diarrhoea part . I just cannot stand people talking too much without any sense . Feels claustrophobia in such situations
