As a girl who shaved her head about 6 months ago at this point and for and felt similar things to do as doing it, I want to let you know this: you may end up not loving it and that’s okay. You may find that you are more confident with hair and you will get excited with every tiny hair growth milestone. But, you will always be proud of yourself for trying it and not letting the ideas of fear stop you. You will feel prettier on some days vs others. It’s okay if you don’t like it. But don’t regret this because you just did a badass move and should be proud of yourself :)

Men can have short hair with every headshape or facial features, bodyweight etc. and nobody comments about this, but if a woman has short hair or a buzzcut everybody needs to share their fu**ing opinion about that. Like ... you need to be tall, slim, even head shape, sharp facial features ... no you just need to be human. And others should learn to keep their opinion to themselves if nobody asked for it. Your such a strong person, go for it you look great 💪🏻✨

Even strong and beautiful women and girls cry when they do something life changing and it just shows that theyre stronger than they look. Your inner beauty and strength came out even more than before. You rock your beauty and strength girl

I did my head shaving (4 times) in 2019 and I'm sitting here watching all these powerful women do it in 2020 making me wanna do it all again

I had my daughter buzz my hair a year ago. I had a moment of regret but loved it after that. Now, for me, there is no going back. Once it starts to grow back, I cut it again. Then, I went blonde which is something I thought I would never do but I love that as well. It is fun to experiment and having a daughter that is a stylist makes it even better. The young lady in the video is still absolutely gorgeous with the cut. Once she adjusts to having done it, she will be fine. It is empowering in a way. It will grow back. I love that she made the decision and did it.

I shaved my head 10 years ago and kept it real short for 7 years. Now it's down to my ass again lol. The beautiful thing about hair is that it GROWS : ) Shaving my hair definitely made me more confident and free. I use to spend hours getting ready and sometimes still wouldn't leave the house because I wasn't happy with how I looked or mostly unhappy with what my hair was doing. This cured me of caring about what I look like when I leave the house. I can go out into the world and focus on who I am as a person and not what I look like because my insides are and will always be more important. Be kind, be patient, and be well. Peace and love

Your eyes got so so blue when you first ran the clippers through. There is nothing more exhilarating, scary, freeing, intimidating and exciting than shaving your head. I have done it like 4 times and I still get all the feels..

I recently shaved my head due to alopecia areata and let me tell u this: I always struggled to feel comfy with my hair because of the bold spots but after I shaved it felt so fresh! You have to get used to it but I love it now! Hair is just a Standart for us women but hair should not define us of who we are. You are beautiful with or without hair! The buzz cut really looks good on you. The first time is always the most difficult seeing your hair fall. Once you adjust to seeing "your self" without so much hair you'll be comfortable rocking it. I got so many compliments from men and women with my buzz cut. Enjoy doing "you"!!

Well done! I have done this too - a year ago today almost! I have kept my hair short now for two years and can't seem to go back to long because short hair makes me feel so strong inside! It's a big deal and not everyone gets it - but I do. I get how much we hide behind, as women, and how much we are expected to look a certain way! You are beautiful and strong, and don't forget it! X

I have wanted to do it for so many years! And finally I did it a few months ago. It was so scary, but I love it!!!! It is soooooo empowering to not hide behind my hair anymore! I have been buzzing my hair now twice a week because that's how fast it grows! For someone like me who has struggled with depression and anxiety and bipolar disorder that it was the best thing I ever did, I feel stronger and fearless and you will too! You look sooo beautiful!!!!!!!! You rock that style girl like me! And remember.... It's HAIR it grows back! It really brings out your beautiful face and your big Bambi eyes just pop!!! As for the dryness I use pure coconut oil to keep my scalp healthy. You got this girl! SMILE!!! You are stunning!!!

Wow. This was a great video. I’ve watched several of these “shaving my head” videos and they all portray girls who are amped, fearless, and confident. It feels a little forced sometimes though. I love seeing your vulnerability. I love that you took this chance even though we’re so scared, that took so much courage. And even though I’m sad for you that you didn’t seem to get what you were looking for, seeing you cry was so real and I appreciate your honesty. I’m not at all saying that every girl who shaves her head regrets it or anything but there’s one or two I’ve seen where it seemed like they were forcing back some emotion because they didn’t want to show on their channel that they felt they may have made a mistake. I think you still look amazing. I’m sorry that you’ve have a difficult year, I can definitely relate to that. And I’m sorry you didn’t feel that fresh start you were wanting.
