I'm 12 and converting to Mormonism, by myself without friends or family, and I go to a Catholic school. All, the kid's at my school swear, date, and all that stuff. But, when they're doing that I'm sitting somewhere else reading the Book of Mormon. I dare to stand alone! :)

I dare to stand alone as the Only Mormon in the Family..I have 5 sisters and 2 brothers but none of them are Mormons but me..I dare to fight for what i believe in against to my parents and relatives because i know I am standing for the truth and i am standing with our father in heaven.

Man I love our prophet Monson, hes got a great sense of humour and he's such a story teller, I get transfixed on what he says. We thank thee O god for our prophet.

I think this message is for everyone of us, no matter of our religion. Only thing that counts is the personal faith we have. You can be Christian of any denomination, you can be Jewish, you can be Muslim or anything, What ever we believe in, we must stand behind it, keep our standards and live our lives in a faith that God is with us everywhere. For there is only one God who protects us and guides us, and loves us.

Watched this at least 6 times in Sunday school and young women's and seminary, but it never gets old!

One of my friends is not LDS. He is a great kid, he doesn’t swear, drink, or does bad things. I was telling him about how my brother is was on a mission. I then asked if he goes to church. He said no, but he has been a few times with his grandparents. I then asked him if he would like to go to church with me sometime. He said he would like that. I am glad that, even when I was a fourth grader, I could teach people about the gospel.

I love being a mormon no matter what happens. i know that this is the true church of god. I know one day if we all that stand fast and live by the god's laws all of us one day will be with him.

I'm the only member of the Church in my family, so it's hard to stand alone. But I know Heavenly Father and other members will pick me up when I am down. I am not alone, even if I am the only one. :)

I had a similar experience in boot camp in 1995. The more things change, the more they stay the same. After that, the drill instructors announced where the Mormons met. We ended up baptizing a guy later who attended church with us in boot camp.

Thomas S. Monson is awesome. One doesn't even need a testimony to understand his words and feel the love of Christ.

I got baptized in January. Nobody in my family knows, and I don't believe that they will approve. So for now, I do stand alone.

it was awesome. i've joined the church almost a year ago and my testimony is still as strong as it was. i stand alone all the time, my branch is very small and we only have 6 members of the youth in the whole city populated with 600,000 people. it gets freaking hard. but im proud to be a mormon.

I saw this many many years ago. I liked it then, but have a COMPLETELY new respect for it now. In Marine Corps boot camp, this is exactly how it was. we had maybe 6 people in our whole company be members of the church. It made me very happy to see more members than just me, I didn't even expect that many if I'm being honest.

We are never alone!

I miss President Monson, a bit of trivia he was the mission President for my grandfather on my mom's side. I remember the day he passed away and when I found out, it was a school day and I had just woken up for school. When I went upstairs the tv displayed his date of birth and the day he died as well as a picture of him. I couldn't believe my eyes. Later that day at school during seminary, my seminary teacher talked to us about him.

LDS i am proud to be even in these difficult times.

Many times in school I have hung out around people that swear. I was scared to tell them that I didn’t want them to swear around me. So I decided one day I would ask one of my friends not to swear around me so often. He said he would try. Every time he does swear though, he always says “excuse my language”

love this video and iv been watching Mormon messages all day today. I am 10 and I almost saw Thomas S. Monson when he came to the gilbert temple. But we left the day before he came. I was so bumbed that we left. We live in CA but where moving to Washington state.

WhooooAhhhhh! I was a lone Mormon in Basic Training, Advanced Infantry Training, and Jump School to be Airborne. The Gospel, Missionary Experience, and my Church service all enabled me to go from a Private in the US Army to A Warrant Officer in three years. I was with the Rangers and Special Forces, the straight-leg Infantry, a Helicopter Aviator and finally an Intelligence Analyst at the Pentagon. I can attribute all my successes to the Church and all my failures to not living the Gospel.

When I went to basic training I was the only member in my company. They wouldn't let me go to church without a "battle buddy". I had to get another soldier to go with me every week. It wasn't easy but I had incredible missionary experiences at basic training. I didn't love Army basic training but if i had to do it again I'd want to me the only member in my company.

I love this!! I stand alone by being a mormon in a city where we are disliked. How do you stand alone?
