1975 was a magical year for BeeGees. This song and Jive Talkin' (both 75 hits) were transitions to 1976 and their first bona fide disco hit, You Should Be Dancing in 1976 So 75 was the transition year between their pre-disco and disco periods.

I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! All three brothers had amazing falsetto's, however, Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the most unique falsetto, because in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is rare! They were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed. They span over many decades, & crossed quite a few genres. I believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️

They've been singing together since they were children, and, as brothers, their voices are truly simpatico, so, as their musical knowledge and skills grew as they grew, so did their harmonic blending and intuitions. Also, they wrote all their own songs and arrangements. This kind of magic is very rare. Also, may I add that you are my favorite reactor. God bless and keep you and yours. Aloha!

What you're hearing isn't Maurice, it's Barry - this is not the original live version with the original audio where Maurice sings, instead someone has dubbed the studio audio (which is Barry using his falsetto for the first time in a song) over the top of the performance. :/

@Erizedd 3 жыл бұрын
@@Ozefan2580 No, he's not. This is the studio version dubbed over the top of the live. As a fan, you _should_ know that, and if you didn't, you can just listen to the studio/album version here on youtube and compare to see (there are also parts at the end where you can see Maurice isn't singing it). The actual live performance with the live audio on it has Maurice singing the falsetto parts, but this version of the 'live' is actually a fan dub.

@@Erizedd I have always felt, that unless MO was singing lead on a song, then you never heard him. It felt like he was the one always lip syncing
@Erizedd
@Erizedd 3 жыл бұрын
@@isebmazo2140 I know what you mean - it's a lot harder to hear Mo cos he usually just supplies the harmonies and plays the instruments. And don't get me wrong, I understand Maurice's fans frustration because they want him to be recognized by reactors in the same way Barry and Robin are, but spreading misinformation isn't a good thing. That's why I found it such a shame that this was the audio-dubbed version of the live performance, rather then the authentic live performance where Mo _actually_ sung the falsetto parts because Barry couldn't. Maybe Maurice fans could try suggesting a few of the songs where he sung solo? He does write/sing some pretty catchy songs.

Every time I listen to the Bee Gees, I am amazed all over again at the way they performed so beautifully as a group. And yet, while it was a solid mass of sound, they each had a role played to perfection. This song seems to be the most perfect example of that very impressive talent. Thank you, Da Real Adogg, for your knowledge of this group and for allowing us all to enjoy your appreciation of the music & voices.

"Nights on Broadway" in my Top 5 of Bee Gees songs with Masachusets (1967) Lamplight (1969) My world (1972) Mr Natural (1974) I like so much the beautiful voices and harmonies of the three brothers, the wonderful rythm and the amazing melodic bridge Another greatest song that You could do, from the same album "Main Course" (1975) is "Fanny (be tender with my love)" and another comment I hope for futures video to ABBA (I suggest Them in another video) I wish You a great day My best regards from Buenos Aires Argentina South América

i went to see the bee gees live in concert. i was a real little kid, my dad took me. it was the first time i saw my father dance. the best daddy/daughter day. because of covid i recently just got to see my father. we were listening to the radio, an urban station(black) the station played a bee gees song. my dad and I were so surprised to be hearing the song. we looked at each other in a BIG surprise. we laughed and just held each other. LOVE YOU DAD
