Daredevil is simply one of the most consistently well-written Marvel titles over time and Miller set the standard.

Surprised that they didn't change the spine.

Spine is not what I hoped for, however, I could not be more Excited for this one! Been waiting for this omnibus to come back in print. Finally time to upgrade from my old paperbacks! Thanks for the look you guys

The omnibus logo on the bottom is just something Frank Miller wanted to do to stand out. I personally wish they would’ve modernized the spines to match the others. But still getting this either way.

That spine pisses me off. So glad I had a custom made for my Miller Vol. 1 and Companion. They look great next to Bendis/Brubaker.

Nice, they kept the original Chip Kidd spine design. I was kind of hoping they'd port the design elements into the current spine format, but this is cool, too.

Actually, the Frank miller daredevil companion omnibus also has the "Marvel Omnibus" logo at the bottom of the spine.

Yeah the previous print of Miller DD omni and its companion book were the only Marvel Omnis that had that "different" spine design. Its weird and kinda wish they stayed consistent with everything else, but at least this new printing will still match the DD Miller Companion book that i own and still pretty widely available AFAIK.

Is this collection the best purchase for someone new to Frank Miller's Daredevil stories? I just read 'The Man Without Fear' collection from the library and would like to try some more.

Never underestimate Disney+'s ability to destroy Marvel characters!

Disappointing to see they are still using that hideous recoloring instead of the original colors...so I guess the masterworks and (eventually) the Epics is the only place where you will be able to read these without looking at those ugly gradients. The covers to both editions are boss though.

You know what? Marvel can't win. Collectors want different spines, then they don't want different spines. You know what doesn't care/need a spine? The stories inside the book! READ YOUR BOOKS, collectors! They're not just for sitting and looking pretty.
