Judging from this, the biggest reason this movie ended up being so terrible was how insecure higher-ups were about it. They were too scared people wouldn't think it was cool, too scared it'd be similar to Spider-Man. Who gives a fuck? The show succeeded where this failed because those creators actually loved the character for what he is.

@@Spidr-Man Daredevil was perfectly in character in she-hulk, he was the same as he was in Daredevil especially with where season 3 left him off. His yellow suit was a one and done, his new red suit he's getting in born again looks great

If they were inspired by the biker outfits, they should've went with a design that was more tactile. Include some more buckles, but also add some other pieces of fabric, incorporate patterns and add some different textures so the suit looks more rugged. It sorta looks like a flamboyant club outfit mixed with a theme of BDSM with how the leather shines and the smoothness of the whole costume. Also, the cowl should've never exposed that much of the jaw, chin and covered the neck. It looked like it envoked a more a "playful" vibe than something serious and threatening.

In the early 2000s the only real big comparison point was X-Men and that's exactly what they did with their suits and it looks fine.

The problem was the studio cutting off 40 minutes of the movie with the B Plot tying into the A plot. The directors cut just works

The costume from the movies looked way more like Daredevil, though. As excited as I was for the Netflix special. The second I saw that squish faced cowl in season 2, I couldn't even continue watching.
