Yeah, I know it might be an unpopular opinion, but I also really love season 2 of DD. Seeing DD and Punisher interact in their conflicting ideas of how to deal with crime/team up, whether it's in a show or in the comics it's always really interesting to witness. And, as I imagine that you're already seeing in the “Defenders” show some of the questions regarding the fate of some of the characters in this show are being addressed there. You're super excited about what's to come next, thinking it is in the form of Daredevil Season 3, but it is in fact not ! If you were to do that, you technically would skip an entire segment of this Daredevil series... Man, based on every piece of reaction you had through this Season 2 finale of Daredevil, YOU REALLY HAVE TO WATCH DEFENDERS (btw this finale directly leads up to every events of the Defenders series and it directly leads up to Daredevil Season 3, so Defenders is basically a bridge between S02 & S03 of Daredevil, or is a Daredevil Season 2.5 if you prefer) ! That would be a waste for you if you don't ; seeing how invested you are into the story and certain specific characters... Then again, it would be nice if you at least check various recaps of the other shows before... PS: And the more I see what type of thing you dig, I definitely think you would not just appreciate Punisher a lot, but also Jessica Jones. Like I said before, it's humanly complicated for you to watch them all show ; it's a lot to engulf all of that in the middle of all the other things you watch ! Highly recommend going in release order before season 3. Jessica Jones season 1 is great, and Defenders is fun. Luke Cage S1 you can watch on your own time, and if you want to Iron Fist S1 - it's the least good but just for continuity for Defenders

So funny story about this episode (and embarrassing): when my sister and I watched this season when it first came out, I had accidentally skipped episode 12 and played this episode. Don’t even ask me how we didn’t even realize until the very end of the episode. We were both kinda confused about some parts (like Elektra already being revealed to be a Black Sky) but it wasn’t til near the end, we were both like “this really feels like a season finale”. One of my biggest bruh moments

I’d like to see The Punisher show up in Captain America: NWO or the Thunderbolts. Steve Rogers is gone, but I always appreciated the respect Frank has for him in the comics. I remember during Civil War he murdered a couple villains trying to join their side & Cap beat his ass but he refused to fight him back because he really sees him as a hero. I also wouldn’t mind Frank, Matt, and/or Jessica Jones showing up late in the Spider-Man college trilogy during a Hobgoblin murder mystery, each with their own agenda to hunt Kingsley down (or they could do a twist by having the goblin be Fisk’s son, Richard). I’d like to see Peter & Frank have an interaction like he had with Matt on the rooftop about their different tactics. You could have it lead directly into a street-level crossover with Spidey teaming up with the Defenders to take out Kingpin & other NY mobs in a gang war.

Jessica Jones and Daredevil are really the only ones worth watching. Defenders is basically Daredevil 2.5.

SO, fun detail, in the episode where Matt is trying to defend Frank in court, when Matt calls Frank by his name, you can see the cogs in Frank's head turn as he realises it's the same voice from the rooftop. It's safe to say that Frank knows who Daredevil is by this point :)

But when you're in the actual ride, you watch the movie or series and don't care about the positive or negative trend around it ; and then you end nitpicking about everything and end believing that what you saw was plain crap from beginning to end... And fyi if was the same during World War 2 when snitches were denunciating Jew people, that way German military police could take care of "it"... Season 1 great, season 2 was great but I didn’t conect with elektra and the best episodes were punisher and fisk or both together,but the daredevil and elektra episode eh,last complaint is they build daredevil as real world as possible and then you have an immortal pit ,action wise great but when you get to season 3 you’ll realize it’s eh.

I think Frank knew that Matt is Daredevil and that's why he showed up, I don't think he would have if he didn't know. In episode 6 when Matt, Karen and Foggy came to the hospital to talk to Frank. Matt said something like "Frank Castle, my name is Matthew Murdock, these are my associates Franklin Nelson and Karen Page..", Frank is laying with his eyes closed, and for a split second Frank twitched just before looking at Matt and then said "Yeah, I know who you are". I think he recognized Matt's voice and he knew from that moment.

Loved seeing your reaction to these first two seasons, and hyped about what's still to come.... BUT... your video feed in this episode had a really bad case of 'soap opera effect', which makes it look like cheaper studio TV footage instead of film, like normal. Maybe some different settings this time? It's the first time I noticed it in your videos, but made it hard to watch. Anyway, what a finale!!!

Many people think the third season is the best one, I don't argue with them because they make a lot of great points, but you do need Defenders to fully apprecate it.

Defenders is the direct continuation of this story. The other shows are great too- particularly Jessica Jones- but aren't vital to understanding what's going on.

After Defenders > DD S3, I think you should jump straight into Punisher. Not enough Punisher love in the youtube reaction-sphere and it's a great show. Extremely brutal like you would expect.

Defenders isn't the best show, but it's critical for understanding Matt in season 3. You'll be pretty confused for a couple episodes if you don't at least read some detailed summaries.
