Dreams do come true, and an amazing teacher you have become. It must be an interesting feeling knowing that your students are from so many different places worldwide, all taking your teachings and improving their different levels of Russian. And on that note, Thank you for dedicating your time and effort to teach and guide us through the Russian language on all the different platforms you have used. Your dedication is something to truly admire and I am honestly really happy that I found your channel during my quest to learn this beautiful language because thanks to your teachings, I have created a solid foundation for learning and practice. Darya, if I understood it correctly, it appears that you are just a year older than me. I went to the first grade in 97/98, Croatia. Everything I see in this video reminds me of my childhood, especially that horrid "post-communist" fashion. This made me remember your previous video "6 years old Daria being a SMART COOKIE" where the classroom transported me back to my childhood. A blast from the past. . Despite large cultural differences that were present back then, there was a lot of similarities. Unfortunately, our countries couldn't be more different in 2023. Russia...well, there is no point in mentioning the obvious and Croatia is becoming too westernized for my liking.

1990s were actually the worst time in Russia😅 Sometimes we didn’t have money to buy food:)

@@RealRussianClub OK, that's true. But the future could have been better, if the country would have democratized during the 90's, just like other post socialism countries did. The baltics, Poland etc. were also not shiny places after the fall.
