The thing that is most impressive with him is even when he has an open layup or floater he always finished high of the backboard. His touch is some of the best in the league combine that with the limitless range he has. One of my favorite guards in the league.

Cleveland is probably gonna be my number 1 league pass team to watch after my team. Even though they got Mitchell instead of us I wanna see what that squad becomes even before they got Donovan, Mobley and Garland and the rest such a nice rebuild. I hope NY can duplicate something like it soon.

Garland is really good at scoring, assisting and speed. He has everything a PG needs now. I think the Cavs are a team with a really bright future, so I hope they continue to grow both as a team and as individuals.

Now Mitchell doesn't have to worry about being the primary perimeter playmaker for his teammates. His main role is just score similar to how beal was when john wall was running the point and setting up everyone. Garland is more than capable of getting his own shot but also set up others.

His hands provide the offense while his feet controls the defenders who try to guard him. His change of pace shows he sees exactly what he is going to make his defender do before they do it.

I agree with you and another funny similarity is both only played a handful of games in college. I went to Vandy and sadly could only watch DG play for a very short time before his injury. He’s quite the talent

DG just plays. He didn't whine to the front office. He let them do their job and he did his. The Cavs didn't build around Lebron because of the pressure he put on the franchise. Sometimes you just have to let a franchise do its job

..just another overrated regular player who put up big numbers in a non-playoff star-less bad team. So many similar examples in today's nba -- rocket's jalen green, kings' fox, spur's arrogant dejounte murray, etc... there's no way he could make all-star if there were fewer injuries this year.

You sound serious so I don't think you're trolling but Dejounte Murray is an overrated regular player to you? Seriously? He averaged 21,8, and 9 on the season and made a huge jump in his playmaking ability whilst being one of the best defensive guards in the league. (Also very clutch on both ends )But I guess that didn't matter because it wasn't in the playoffs?

@@jesuschryst 2 things can be true at once. I think SGA is also a great player in his own right and sure maybe he would avg 25,10,10 in SA. He doesn't have the defensive prowess that Dejounte has so basically he'd be just as impactful
