Just saw the Undercover Boss episode of Darius Rocker when he goes undercover to find musical talent. Listening to him sing this song at the end I’m like I’m gonna add it to my Apple Music. So I KZfaq’d it, and found The Toons… what a masterpiece cover 👏🏼🙌🏼

@@bloodybisquit, Correct. Why are so many many music lovers oblivious to where songs like this comes from? No matter how great the artists who perform them so well are, they would not even have a tune to hum to without the songwriters -- in this case Bob Dylan and Ketch Secor.

Excellent take on this tune of which Darius Rucker did a note for note remake of the Old Crow Medicine Show tune, which in turn was a worked up and renamed take on an unreleased Bob Dylan demo entitled Rock Me Mama.

This cover is exceptional, extraordinary, amazing, mind-blowing. It shows a very unique coming together of talent including singing, harmonizing, rendition, video. And it looks like they did it virtually......now that is GOOD!!! I am so surpised that there aren't ten times the number of views. I am now a fan. Keep going!!!!!!!!!!!

A top quality cover of a terrific song, with some really nice original touches. Really nice banjo and mandolin parts and a tidy guitar solo. I especially like the harmonies and the "double stop" section after the half-time passage at around 3.20. Not being critical at all of Darius Rucker's version (it's such a good song that everybody's version is worth listening to) but in some respects I like this one better.

Except Bob Dylan wrote wagon wheel. Darius Rucker just covered it. Like Luke Combs’ covering Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car but everyone thinks he wrote it.

you should build the song up, instead of coming in hot with everything in verse 1. have just the guy sing the first chorus, and subtract a few instruments in the beginning. that way the song is more dynamic.
