As a mamuli sanik of wadiyars of Maisur Haidar Ali got a subedari of Srirangpatna. He become even more famous and powerful than wadiyars and later got the title of Nawab. He become De Facto ruler of Maisur when he defeated many near by kingdoms and become equally powerful as Nizam of Hyderabad, Peshwas of Pune and Britishers but his interest always come into conflict with all powers and finally defeated by combined powers of medieval India. Tipu become even more powerful and unlike Hyder Ali who decided to remain de facto ruler of Mysore under Wadiyar Tipu becomes Sultan of Srirangpatna and Wadiyars were not even a nominal ruler. He has only one problem removing Wadiyar he has to get recognition either from Britisher or he need to get it from Mughal Emperor. Here Britishers were against him while Mughals were a rubber stamp of Britishers so in both way he was not getting it so without recognition Tipu’s Maishur cannot act as a sovereign kingdom. So despite of being so powerful and Wadiyars being absolutely of no power he need to issue orders in the name of Wadiyars which is the reason they survive. After defeat of Tipu Wadiyars as a rubber stamp of Britishers again come into the power. Tipu was one of the most loved, intelligent, smart, bravest and kind king india has ever produced.
