Glad you recognize Charlotte's GOAT-ness. She's so badass, and in a believable way, too. She doesn't do anything flashy and she looks like a normal middle-aged woman; she's just a really damn good investigator.

I always find it amusing how we viewers in the first season thought that what was shown so far was complicated. In retrospect, the first season seems as simple as 1+1=2 compared to the second season. And just when we thought the second season was complicated, season 3 came along and everything we thought we knew was wrong.

Can we just talk about how incredibly layered the symbology and writing of this show is, it’s literally INSANE. Makes the rewatch value incredible also! That shot alone of Jonas and Helge touching through the rip in time creating the time loop and how it mimics Michelangelo’s ‘The Creation of Adam’ is just perfectly done. I’m not religious but the way Dark so profoundly uses religious themes to equate/replace ‘God’ with ‘Time’ just blows my mind! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching you guys to react to this show, you truly don’t know what you’re in for and it really does just get better from here on out as impossible as that may seem! I just can’t do this show justice with words, so hyped for the next 2 seasons!

That final sequence with "A Quiet Life" song in the background is just amazing. Goosebumps every time !!!

Poor Tronte, finding his son, after all those years missing. Mads just died at that moment, but for Tronte, 33 years went by. And now Tronte knows what happened, but can't talk to anybody about it... making him suspect to his wife. (Partially his fault, because he lied before/had an affair with Claudia, but still)

From what Noah and Adult Jonas sayd, it looks like no one wanted any kid to die, they simply wanted to get the "room time machine" working, but to do so, they had to do human experimentation, on which they were able to teleport Mads from 1986 to 2019, Erik from 2019 to 1953 and Yasin from 2019 to 1953, but the machine was incomplete, everytime they sent any kid through the time machine, they died in the process. Until it finally worked on this episode, opening a portal that send Helge from 1953 to 1986, and Jonas from 2019 to the future.

2019 + 33 is not 2042...

I think the only reason Noah took Jonas was because he knew already that he needs to be there to end up as future Jonas. I'm like 99% sure he was not planning on using Jonas like he does with the other kids.

This is why I love Mondays. If it's Monday, it's Normies watch Dark Day! I just can't wait to see y'all's reaction to a certain something in season 2. To me, it was the most jaw-dropping thing in the show, even though it would eventually be done on a larger scale in season 3. But I should probably shut up before I say too much!

Helge grew up to be who he is because he switched places. Noah most likely went back to the hatch expecting Jonas to be there and found Helge.

Everyone hates Hannah but I think Maja Schöne, the actress who plays Hanna, is the best of the many very good actors in DARK. I love every scene with her. Always believable and genuine. The young actress Ella Lee also plays the role of the young Hannah very well.

So I’ve watched this show many times over and it never once occurred to me that Egon might resent Ulrich and his dad for being a descendant of Agnes, who broke up his marriage. It actually makes perfect sense. This is why I watch reactions, because there are still things I miss. Loving your discussions, by the way!

When the portal opens in cave, and Jonas and hailgae see each other and when they touch that portal, they transferred 33 years forward from where they actually belongs, means hailgae was in 1950s so he simply transferred to 1980s,but Jonas belongs to 2019 and traveled 1980s, but initially he belongs to 2019 that's why he go 33 forward to 2019 and reach 1942. Adult Jonas didn't let his younger self out because in order to become what he is today and learning all the knowledge and experience he needs about time travel and how to break this cycle, he must keep his younger self in the same path he always was. So in order to break the cycle, he must keep the cycle... at least that's what he believes. With the same logic, when Young Jonas becomes adult, he'll do the same thing with his younger self. that's why adult Jonas said "I had this conversation before but I was on the other side of the door". This conversation happened infinite times, like everything else in this time cycle :) 14:30 old Helge thought by killing his younger self in a car accident he will change things. But that accident was the same thing that damaged his brain in the first place and put him in hospital for the rest of his life. Like everything else in this time cycle, his accident always happened. And it was always himself who did that to him. HE MADE HIMSELF MENTALLY DAMAGED. 20:35 It's 2052 guys :) Awesome reaction as always 🔥❤

If you forgot Peter is Helge's son, at 10th episode, you will have hard time following the show forward. Because knowing how everyone is related, is super crucial to understand the plot. And brace yourself, it is going to be 10 times more complex than season 1. I recommend not watching any other show while you are watching dark.

I hate how Suraj took the credit for the Stranger/Jonas reveal when Rana said it first lol

I think at the end Rana is trying to use the term timeline the proper way. As in an alternate order of events that were created. Whereas you keep confusing yourselves with calling various segments of the same timeline "timelines". bo and Jante, the creators of the shows, actually call the different eras timeplanes. And it totally makes sense if you try to visualize what happens in the show. A time loop is called so because the visualization of the timeline loops back in on itself. But we do not have a certain point in space time where the timeline crosses itself instead the whole timeline seems to be spiraling with each moment (multiples of) 33 years apart is directly next to each other. Now if your timline consists not of a line but of a strip the spiral would look more like a vegetable julienne with each year being a certain segment or mathematically a plane of itself. I now cannot think of the time space continuum as nothing else but a spiral potato on a stick.

Noah kidnaps the boys, because he always did. Noah looks into his book and sees Jonas name, so someone already choose these specific victims. That is what old Jonas explains with "If i let you out, than i will not become what i am now" and wants to prevent young Jonas from rescuing Mikkel. They were always kidnapped in the present, past and future. My best take is why kids from the beginning, if they are young, they cant fight and escape Helge. And maybe if they are young, they dont had so much influence on the time, so somewhen in the timestream they got kidnapped. Becoming a paradox might just be Jonas and all the others trying to change the timestream somewhere.

Another mind-blowing paradox is the one involving Helge. The old man travels to the past, ends up dying in the accident that intends to kill his young self, but his young self survives and becomes old and does the same thing again... it's an infinite circle. Helge never dies after all, he is trapped in the paradox. Or from another point of view: no matter what Helge does to change things, he will always end up in the asylum and going back to the past trying to change something without success, how do we know he will never succeed? because (whatever he does or doesn't do anything) he ends up in the nursing home and child murders will continue to happen because it's a loop you can't get out of.
