Looks cool, I do like the idea of a light euro combined with a light RISK style game. I'm not sure it's one I would need to own, but I would be happy to try it out

I like the turns are so short but there's a lot to think about. Like: do I give my opponent a reaction, do I attack over here or should I develop a tech and so on. And so many ways to end the game, I like it. ^^

Great job on the video, that looked a pain to film, though I did wince every time you said calvary instead of cavalry.

I have question: Is possible for White player in 33:30 to sacrifice his Light Cavalry instead of Heavy Infantry? It would give him 4 points in battle result instead of 3. On there is some rule saying that slow boys must die first?

What a superb playthrough Jon, thanks heaps. I quoted at about 1:10:33 this game is setting up to be the most amazing game and so excited to how this plays out. Then it happened again, like “MY”previous issues with other games. When your ready to reap the rewards of your engine and see a whooping exciting finish with fights, drama, and death to all,. The end point trigger happens and game to a hault and point calculation happens. I wish the creators of the game instead of ending the game at one of those triggers gave further advantages to that player. Such as culture max, gave an advantage of all barbarians joined your side. When all churches are built, weak adjacent towns joined your side etc. ahh what could’ve been to create a Great War game, not a point grab excursion. Just my opinion, on what I was hoping for in a game. Awesome awesome playthrough Jon, whenever you do a playthrough I grab my wallet.

Solid play through Jon. Certainly helpful. I just had my first grind through and I think this game is terrific! However, I just have a few random questions came to mind during my session. Feel free to answer at your own convenience: 1) do transient units you earn take on your current tech level of that unit or stay basic level? 2) Kingdom of Italy is labelled on the map as a 3+ player game but it's Title card reads 4+. Typo? If so, what do we go by? Card or Map? 3) If you maneuver an army into a province with a city but without anyone's settlement or unit, is it an automatic take-over with out a fight? 4) what exactly constitutes "control of a province"? Your colour settlement and/or any of your military unit(s) occupying the province? Can you gain resources from a province during passing (step 8 ) with only your military unit(s) in the province and with out any of your buildings? TIA 👋

5:29 you flipped the order of the tokens, as you have changed your mind about the placement but played with the kicked out token which you didn't kick out :) that's my main issue with this kind of mechanism, a mis-planned move can invalidate the state.

This must have taken forever to film! This setup is huge. You seemed to be changing camera angles more times per turn than usual.

It looks like something went wrong at 1:26:55 (or something) you say it's the white players turn, but put an yellow disk on the board and build a city for yellow? Excellent video again btw! Really get a feeling of the gameplay.

56:00 I believe you could have used the keep in the melee phase to get 1 hit, winning the battle against the barbarians (you had a 4 which could become a 5).

Hmm, I like the theme but something about the way this plays out doesn't sit well with me. It does make me want to see you play the Crusader Kings board game, but I bet it wouldn't work well with your setup like most negotiation heavy games. Speaking of which, can you trade with other players in this game? The way the resources are spread out makes one thing that would be a thing, but it appears to not be.

A minor goof: 1:45:12 - Yellow got 4 VP from the battle with the barbarians. It went from 28 to 33. Yellow got 5 VP not 4.
