Dark and Darker is the most refreshing gaming experience of 2022 and it was just an alpha test of a game made up of entirely familiar building blocks; which is probably how it gets away being the most challenging gameplay experience of 2022 as well. Dark and Darker is an extraction battleroyale built on an inspired Dungeon and Dragons framework with classes, magics, monsters, and obviously DUNGEONS.

Best game in last 10 years. Just combinations of best things from games like Counter Strike (small but intersting maps with corridors), Doom 2 (hidden rooms and labyrynth) Diablo 2 (skills), Fortnite(battle royale and loot), Never Winter Nights (finite abilities uses) (dnd successor). Nice addition - be able to transfer goods out of session. It will be huge.

you forgot the best of it all the escape from tarkov loot- escape and sell to traders or other players system

Great video! I've been addicted to this game since the first playtest. So much so that other games don't even feel fun anymore. Thanks for curing my Dark and Darker withdrawals for 21:19

Also. You def needed to mention the unique mechanic that adds spice to this recipe is the ability to extract or forced to go deeper with a higher risk vs rewards

I paused this video 40 sec in after hearing your intro just to comment. I 100% AGREE. Thats exactly what happened, i saw some footage of playtest #1 and was drawn in, no lifed every playtest since, watched every scrap of content i can. This game has grabbed my soul and i await my next chance to play it with unbriddled anticipation. I will now unpause and enjoy the rest of your contetnt

Dark and Darjer is a game I would even pay to play, I only got to play a few matches before the latest playtest ended and I fricking LOVE this game, I would pay to play it in its current state
