To clarify it's not around 5 at least from what I can tell, it's always either 3 or 5 ore in each vein, if I'm wrong please let me know but that's my experience so far.

One thing I still don't know is when do the ores spawn, I remember seeing them in one runs of many I did, do they spawn more in High roll lobbies?

for more context the conversion rates are trash, takes about 15 seconds per mine, 5 ore per rock 10 ore per ingot, 6-15 ingot per armor piece about 400 ore is needed for a full set of ruby silver. plus youll rarely get the chance to mine them long. granted its some of the best gear out there, but unless you're doing a hyper PVE hell level build its almost pointless.

Last night mine broke in 3. Which would be ideal because it takes a long time to mine and then each party member would get 1 each. You sure its 5 hits because it was taking me 3.

it depends, for instance when i took the red portal and went deeper, it took 5 hits to break, while on average its 3-4 on the first level.

@@denysk6949 nice to know, im sure it will change multiple times throughout the test phases though. The dev interview made it seem like they are paying a lot attention to how players interact with the systems currently in game. Even using darkness as a gameplay mechanic.

How much ore do you need to mine in order to make one piece of equipment

depends entirely on what you're making, for example plate gloves take 60 total ore and a platebody takes 150 total ore

thats one of the harm of the game as tarkov does it simular way :) Yes it was frustrating dieng bc of no blue portal (i would liek mroe constantz in that point) but dieing in pvp or pve and losign stuff is a great game :)(
