Frequently during my streams I get a lot of questions about how I play fighter and the stats I prioritize and skills I run or perks I use so I decided to make a video discussing all of that and more to hopefully help people learn the class.

Should take a look into Arming sword/Shortsword combo for slayer build. It hits way faster than a falchion when you use them in succession. Usually a very fast 3 hit combo that puts down anyone when aimed to the head.

With the grey campfire, I THINK you can get your Second Wind back if you spam G while placing the campfire. However, it has been inconsistent and might have something to do with server ticks.

I've been running the dual wield fighter since before wipe. It's been a lot of fun with the Short sword. Only problem I'm running into is getting one tapped by Barbs trying to rush the attack when I have adrenaline rush active. Skill issue I know. I just hope the short sword gets a damage buff or possibly some better rolls for damage in the future. Still trying to find the perfect combo of off hand and primary for fastest attack combo. Seems short sword is a good start.

I tried really hard to make slayer work, but I learned the hard way what you said in the video, it only works early wipe. It took a lot of deaths before I realized I'm taking double the damage of other fighters while only getting 5 weapon damage, and the move speed isn't enough to escape after getting into melee. Very sad, as I'm a two-weapon enjoyer, and it seems plate tank is the only truly viable build

Yeah its really unfortunate rn fighter only has 1 real viable build. when the talent tree is released im really looking forward to seeing more variety. sadly enough fighter builds other than plate with sword and shield is just a bad version of other classes. like slayer is just worse barbarian

I've been making Slayer work the entire wipe, sure I've had some sad deaths. But I've also been able to have some crazy plays. I doubt it will ever be meta, but you can't say it isn't viable either

When I talk about basically anything I'm referring to HR trios where slayer isnt viable at all. I don't speak on solos cause I dont play it.@@narhwallord6985

Hey do you think counter attack and shield mastery stack well together for long sword repost attack ?would it stack 60 % attack speed on nextattack? great video btw thank you

Hey Todd, do you think it is worth to run orc race for that extra strength at cost of agility or do you prefer running human ?

I think fighter really wants agility and strength both so its hard to use orc/elf since youll be losing out in one. However if you get a super high amount of one stat like agi you could use orc since losing 1 agi wont hurt you that much at that point.

hey Todd, what are your thoughts on rogues being able to reduce 55% phys damage reduction from thrust and ambush basically for free? how does that impact full damage reduce build ? also, two handed weapons being really bad really break my heart, no work around curently ? what could be done to make them viable ?

Rogues are incredibly strong and the rogue v fighter matchup is VERY reliant on positioning and who finds who first. if a rogue gets the drop on you from behind youre likely dead in 3-4 hits however even with that armor pen they cant fight you face to face. unfortunately no two handed is just incredibly weak. two handed IS playable yoy just need an insanely stacked amount of gear to the point its not realistic and you also need a bard

Haberd is secret op atm been dunking all the meta slaves that use falchon and heater shield. Just need good positioning

what are the go to weapons for the more "meta" build? heater shield and any melee?

heater is the best shield and arming is the best sword but you can also use the falchion. two handed weapons are really bad right now

is barracade still viable now with the nerf? im a longsword main, should i switch to combo attack now?

I think 2h fighter is going to be VERY bad. barricade will be good at early armor values but much worse at higher values. will have to test then put out a video
