I was always one of the Dark Angels are traitors crowd (what do you expect from a son of Russ) till i watched your first vid on them. It made me rethink them a lot more

@@baldermort I agree. I get the story must progress but honestly I prefer the loyalist primarchs to be away. Traitors get theirs - it’s sort of the point of traitors still getting their demon primarch arund. I think it’s made a bit worse by they super contrived way they brought back Guilliman (still salty about that awful story line with Xenos being allowed into his death chamber). I would have preferred a living primarch. It would be smarter. But sadly poster boys get it. As you said. Bring them out. But that said. It had better not be happy families. I would expect the Lion/Kharn/Russ even Corax or Dorn to be disgusted with the imperium. Hopefully we don’t get some awful Primaris writing like “for 5 minutes they were at stand off then they came to accept one another”. No give me true internal conflict. The Lion deciding to reveal his chapters’ heresies or not. Civil war. Honesty I would have liked Lorgar and Corax to return first. 😅 Sorry. Long reply Balders 😅

I honeslty think we are only missing one. I will look into it. But we'll have other things on MOndays for a little bit. Honestly, with the exception of craftworld eldar, I really think we got them. Well, in the codices anyways. :)_

@@baldermort no I brought a Deathwing army from Jamie in 4th edition when gw first released the multi pose plastic Terminators, I have still not repainted them all yet🤣 I was thinking they would be a good start to a Horus Heresy army but I just realised Terminators didn't have the Crux Terminatus on the shoulders pre heresy so they wouldn't look right, that's a lot of work filing those off. I do have a load of the relic terminator suits from the Horus Heresy boxed games so will try and do something with those. I love the Native American style to the Deathwing when I was a kid which is the reason I first started the army, that and it was an awesome expansion for space hulk, I had been using my metal Terminators back from Space Hulk, Space Crusade, Advanced Space crusade and rogue trader before they were released and I didn't want to rebase them on larger bases as I wouldn't be able to use them for those games anymore so decided to start fresh with the new plastics I still have all those games and over 120 of the 1989 to 1990 Terminators painted up in the chapters used for them. . Along with all those scouts and marines from the time. . And 80s Grey Knight Terminators and about 100 genestealers with a load of Hybrids and original tyranid warriors. . I still honestly prefer all the models and the asthetics from that era, I would take a walking block of armour looking Terminator over one of the new leaping through the air over the mandatory heroic rock style sculpts anyday 🤣

It's a nice plan on paper... But one may think... What If The Lion Borded the Vengeful Spirit with Dorn, Sanguinius and Daddy? Perphaps our Fabulous Hawk Boy would be alive.

By the lion destroying their homeworlds and cutting off their supply lines he gave the traitors no choice but to retreat to the warp with their defeat. He trusted his brother dorn to hold terra. Sound strategy, one cannot be caught up in the feelings regarding the tragic results as there was no choice in the matter if the imperium was to be saved.
