I think what I love about O'Kais is that every time he goes into battle he politely asks his enemies to surrender for the Greater Good, and when they invariably fail to do so he still is outraged ever single time they do. The Tau can still muster up righteous indignation with the rest of the races.

Whenever I play this mission I always leave a squad or two behind with the traitor guard. I feel like the Tau would be willing to sacrifice a number of forces to bolster those guardsman who turned away from the imperium.

@ShasOKaiis In dow canon, The tau came upon a planet of the imerium, and won a ferocious battle for the planet. The civilian humans, not wanting to be slaughtered, appealed to the tau, who accepted them. However, the tau were fearful of the humans and their quick breeding rates, so all humans that joined were sterilized. Does tampering with nature sound like it was "for the greater good?" not to mention that the imperial citizens who do not want to join or fight tau were slaughtered by tau.
