it's cause the only card you want from the utopia pack is the zexal sage rare while the actual main deck card need to play is from the otomapia pack not utopia. it's the otomapia that have the crazy special summon combo. I played Utopia on master duel and found out the deck use the otomopia more

If you combine dark magician with the girls, berry etc they become a stall to get what you need. And also are material for quintet and can even bring him out 1st turn with right conditions

It's unfortunate that Doug didn't pull any of the new timaeus dragon as dragon knight + e-soul = nearly unbreakable lock, you need a Kaiju or non target banishing trap removal

You know, sometimes it dumbfounds me when I look at all the dark magician cards and support. They have so much. I am not a very competitive player and i usually play only 1 of 3 decks. Blackwing, plunder patrol, and fluffals. But to those that main dark magicians, im very curious, what do they lack or need to see them compete competitively?

Not noticing they had a quick play fusion spell. Not that it matters given Utopia does best when OTK. Watching Utopia get piloted like that is painful though. I'll point out I've won games by doming foes for 10k. Double up.

Just like boomer and millennial lost all meaning, Zoomer (gen Z for Zoomer) seems now to just means whatever the current kiddos are. Zoomers were born in the mid 90s to early 10s. There are Zoomers turning 30 soon as well as skibbidi teens. If you're born after Zexal, you're gen Alpha.

Dark Magician was my first deck (3 copies plus a few extra cards from the pack) when I was in Master Duel and I had a lot of fun... until a certain mermaid Fusion deck came and I was unable to ever have any fun. I did win ONCE against the damn Tearlament Ishizu because my opponent misplayed but only once. The rest... too sad.

Utopia pack is just unplayable by its own (because the monster is just ZW ZS not included Onomat) Maybe it was a bit fair if MBT got access to Onomat idk will this pack got chance again or no, and onomat pack has lot of trash too 🗿
