So no matter what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music. I thought this is a good time to upload this song, as it is one of the darkest songs from my dark trilogy. The song is a central part to the Mirror of the Night story and explores a theme that is difficult for humans to grasp, which is the suffering of an immortal entity that cannot die. It envies mortals, whose lives seem to it like a fleeting dream, and it despairs at the knowledge that for it this dream will be never-ending. It reminds me of a book about a vampire who had been around for almost 1000 years. He has experienced and seen a lot over the centuries. Just a few blink of an eye. The vampire built a life the way he wanted and enjoyed having it all. But deep down he wished he hadn't got into the pretty vampire's carriage back then. He missed his humanity and at the same time loathed the thought of it. Having eternity is both a gift and a curse. But when the warm heart of a woman touched his soul, it tore him inwardly, because he knew he would never be able to lead such a life .. this was his eternal damnation that would never end. Thank you again for your inspiring music Adrian! :)

I once had a nightmare in which I understood that I was dreaming and I knew I could have escaped that terrible world only by suicide. But no matter how many times I tried to die, no matter how high was the floor of the palace I was jumping from, I would never wake up and always stay alive against my will and the nightmare would never let go of me. I was trapped inside of it. That experience was probably the closest I have ever gotten to such a feeling as the one described in this song, and you really grasped a huge part of it.

The feeling of being trapped is there in the piece. Tremendous amount of effects felt especially in these dark times, being trapped in red, orange, green zones.

This song alone, as well as the title, fits perfectly for my main antagonist in my Celtic Fantasy story; an ancient god of death who was so powerful, he is literally invulnerable to *any* form of weaponry/magic, even death itself! His name is Domhaim(either Icelandic or Celtic for ‘Death’ and/or ‘Underworld’) He can summon armies by taking the souls of dead bodies, and can form tendrils of solid dark matter from either his hands or feet or anywhere on his body, even his eyes! In other words, *Domhaim is deathless* ! Scary, huh? 🎃💀😱

Such an interesting theme, and a wonderful execution of the concept! I always love the music you put out! The concept of immortality being a curse is really interesting, but it's even more interesting when you remember that we are all immortal in a way. Although we do die and leave this life, our souls live on into eternity; whether it is a curse or a blessing depends on what decisions you make in this life... Take it or leave it, but remembering this does add a fascinating new aspect to this piece!
